Good Integration Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is very powerful and flexible and allows data manipulation, and funneling to various systems. It has allowed us to integrate our various ERP's on campus.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not as simplistic as you would hope. It does require development Knowledge. The concept of what can be done with the tool is very straightforward, but there is a need to programming language.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are moving to a new ERP for our institution, we move daily information between various systems to keep the information in sync during this transition. We also use the tool to send and receive data in required formats to outside vendors.
Works, but with quirks
What do you like best about the product?
I like that snaps and workflow make a lot of sense and cover all the ground you might need. SQL statements, API, file, Maps, etc... it's all there and labeled properly.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main complaints are: Debugging is HARD. In many scenarios you have to have built extensive error pipelines and logging in order to debug, instead of just being able to see where and why something failed. I also think that passing parameters from pipeline to pipeline, and sometimes snap to snap, isn't very intuitive. Some pipelines that are expecting values from another source are impossible to test without creating a json creator or something like that at the front. I am not always clear with what data is being passed through certain snaps, like a json splitter, etc...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data loads from one database source to another. Also, lots of file transformations and loads.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It can work for you, but spend the right amount of time learning how and why to use certain snaps, and try not to stray from their intended use.
Snaplogic Heaven for ETL World
What do you like best about the product?
Firstly Snap logic is an IPAAS tools which is used to do cloud integrations. The best thing i like about snap logic is its UI and the way it interacts between users and the customization it gives to an organization and the ability to write self programming with languages like java script, python and ruby. The languages are not completely vanilla but mix of mozillas rhino.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its inconsistency, moving code across environments, its single sso login authentication, not supporting vanilla programming languages.also validation step for pipelines always store cache due to which we are required to clear cache every time we validate a pipeline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integration of Two external Systems like jira, mulesoft, salesforce and also to achieve ETL Process like read data from file/db and loading to file/Db.We have also using snaplogic as our reporting tool on how many interfaces in production have been successful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Cloud based,Easy Navigation,Simple Validation,Various Snappacks to choose,Price,Customer support and Robustness
An Excellent Cloud based ETL tool
What do you like best about the product?
Snaplogic is well suited for almost every data flow. They have a great set of connectors, an intuitive UI and can get setup in a very few steps. They also provide customer service, who are quick, professional and super-knowledgeable. Their customer service is one of the best I have seen. Very quick to respond, very professional and knowledgeable. They also seem to have a nice dynamic with their engineering team for support (I was on calls with the rep. and the engineer many times). The Account manager is usually on top of things and very helpful. They have excellent set of connectors to many vendors. Their decent UI, great documentation, and responsive customer support gives me the courage to start any new integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
I used to not like a few features but after submitting tickets, Snaplogic has slowly converted them to enhancement requests and implemented them over the last several releases
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integration involving cloud-based data, Data warehousing for Optimized Analytics, Data consistency between operational applications, Data and/or system migrations and consolidations, Business-oriented / self-service data integration deployment
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Approach with an open mind. Snaplogic has a learning curve and is a growing company. But they are very responsive, supportive and take every opportunity to help you.
Low-code tool that implement your integration quickly
What do you like best about the product?
Quick turnaround for development and changes. Easy preview before deploying.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot turn off previews. Cannot make snaps temporarily inactive for testing purposes. Not very easy to implement while loop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Batch jobs for database sync. Automatic streaming with batches.
It has been kind of mixed experience with Snaplogic.
What do you like best about the product?
It is really helpful being used as Extract, Translate and Load operation as we have been using it to first read the json file loaded in SFTP location and then read the file and load it to the database. Connection to SFTP and database is really easy. It is also easier to call web services using the REST call Snap. Also easier to perform operations like union, join, group by and all. Error debugging is also easier in Snaplogic because of the Validate option that it provides.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially our team thought to write the Hard to do programming with Java but it was not possible because of the complexity issues. The only way we ended up is by using the Snap which of course was not what the programmer wanted. Also, the support is not that great. The documentation is also not that explicit as it doesn't have enough examples for the user to know how exactly the snap can be used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are performing ETL operations which seem to be pretty cool with all features Snaplogic has to offer.
User friendly iPaaS integration Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, you can connect to N number of end point.Uisng Snaplogic you can connect your ground plex database as well as cloud database, web services ,and third partly application etc.Snaplogic consist 400+ connectors to connect.you can transform your data as per your requirement using pre in-build JavaScript function,No need to write any code.you can schedule your job as per your requirement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Continues validation and execution of Same pipeline leads to cache problem. So most of the time we have to clear browser cache and re try the execution. Not all javascript functionality is present.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are loading data from oracle DB to AWS Neptune data base.SNaplogic helped us to convert Oracle DB to graph data or N Quads format.
One of the best iPaaS on the market. Best Citizen Integrator.
What do you like best about the product?
Not much coding involved. Nice user interface. Could almost connect with any of the latest toolsets in the market like Salesforce, workday, Service now etc
What do you dislike about the product?
Very little help information available. Enhancement requests take longer time to implement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We mainly use SnapLogic for ETL and application integration.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Though we have some minor consideration, it is still one of the best iPaaS available in the market.
How Snaplogic can make your life easy .
What do you like best about the product?
Snaplogic is a great integration tool and works very accurately. Best part is it provides a wide platform of tools to connect between systems. Most importantly it is easy to use. Any person without having prior knowledge of Snaplogic can use it with the documentation provided. I did the same and I am loving the way snaplogic has changed out lives by making integration so easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The failures should be a little detailed one ad should mention which data failed to process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integration between SAP and salesforce has been made easy with Snaplogic. It is very convenient to see the transactions happening. It saved a great amount of coding time for the developers. Not only that we have several integrations working right now within different systems and salesforce using snbaplogic,
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just go ahead with it.
