What do you like best about the product?
Each snowflake is unique, and every employee i have come in contact with so far are all extremely knowledge and professional. highly recommend!!

so far i have not found anything that i dislike in regards to snowflake

data integration and query perfomance increases
Best Cloud Data Warehouse
What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake is the answer to all those data warehousing pains from those on-prem solutions. Scalability, cloning, time-travel, etc... The list just goes on and on
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Like I said best platform out there
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can have a test/dev database without all the extra hardware and software licenses. We don't have to worry about backups and restores. We can scale up during peak times and scale back down. No need for a DBA or sysadmin to service the box, add more hardware, etc.

convincing DBAs to switch platforms, not much else to dislike

Not possible! Snowflake is revolutionary in data warehousing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving problem throughout our . Sale, Finance, CS, Engineering, IT are all relying on Snowflake for their daily needs. We can answer question across the business at speeds not imaginable before.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't hesitate. Give this a try. We've were all disappointed by the Hadoop wave, this is much better direction.

What do you like best about the product?
Virtual data warehouses separate out compute workloads and provide isolation
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of intellisense Integration with PowerBI is not as tight as it needs to be.

What do you like best about the product?
This software is so easy to use and integrate into my existing infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this current time i have no dislikes of the solution

MIgration from our existing platform that we had outgrown.
Fast and powerful
What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake is convenient, with a web UI that saves your worksheets in the cloud. It is incredibly powerful, letting you do queries that execute faster than Oracle SQL by orders of magnitude.
What do you dislike about the product?
The web UI is a little underdeveloped. It has some powerful features like cloud syncing and best-of-class support for multiple cursors, but it also has some glaring omissions such as Find & Replace.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snowflake is letting us run queries that weren't possible with Oracle just because of how powerful it is. Stuff that would take hours before can now finish in less than 2 minutes.
Amazing product
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Snowflake has decoupled our compute and storage requirements and can scale up or down as our needs change. They also have some of the best documentation in the industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure that there's anything I can think of as a negative.

Previously our data warehouse solution did not scale with our needs, which left us unable to keep up with our demands.
BEST TOOL IN THE WORLD
What do you like best about the product?
Time saver, ease of use, sharing data with a click of button and cost platform is built for every business structure. Tool with a lot of power and yet built in simplicity!@
What do you dislike about the product?
Usually the basics of common training materials. It's easy to use once setup, but getting through the setup is sometimes a little more than the regular business customers would like to deal with. Still rate a 10/10 for most liked!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time, tools, people, infrastructure and cost! All are simplified by scoping Snowflake correctly for our suite of tools.

The part of Snowflake I like best is the performance and seamlessness of querying against the cloud.

There is a lot to be learned for best practices for choosing data warehouse size
