Very Detailed Dashboard

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how the dashboard is laid out for users. It is user friendly by allowing users to easily navigate through the website to look for important analytics. What I like best is that it can easily tell me which apps are crashing, which apps are crash-free, and the specific instances that are causing the apps to crash. The dashboard gives a detailed overview of all the apps, and helps me monitor the analytics of the all the Viacom apps. Furthermore, I can tailor the specific stats that I want to see using custom SQL code in New Relic.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that I believe New Relic can improve upon is allowing the users to click on the specific crash occurrences and errors when looking through the graphs that have the analytics of the app based on user sessions with the app. Instead of just seeing the specific crashes and errors through the graph, I think being able to click on it that leads to the page with more details and information regarding the crash or error with the stack trace and event trail will be more convenient for users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
New Relic really helps us, QA testers, and developers understand the health of the app based on the users that are using the app and if they are experiencing any crashes or errors. This is a really helpful tool in understanding when the crashes and errors occur, how many users are affected and for how long, and where it is coming from.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a very helpful analytics tool to monitor the health of the app and how it is doing based on user sessions. It helps QA Analysts and Developers pinpoint issues with the app such as crashes and errors.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to collate statistics from different VMs across cloud providers and provide a single view of the application.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up the dashboard in quite cumbersome and not an intiutive process

NewRelic helps us monitor the health of our application in various environments and alerts us when there are issues with specific servers.

What do you like best about the product?
What makes New Relic Browser stand out is both the ease of use and the feature richness of the tool. Its very easy to get stared on and quickly you can get to root of performance issue that can be hard to find manually.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because, it has many features it can take some experience to filter out the noise and focus on how to best get value out of the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using the tool to understand the performance of our front end applications, find bugs and enforce best parties among developers.

What do you like best about the product?
With New Relic APM you can analyze your website performance from the user friendly dashboard. No need to dick deep into the logs or any other place to find what causes the website down. It is very easy to get insights from the APM platform and predict feature errors.
What do you dislike about the product?
New Relic APM is pretty expensive for a small companies but it worse the price as the competirors don't have the ease of use the NRA provides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
New Relic helps us to keep our servers up and runing. It integrated with our WordPress and we can see the performance bottlenecks from their dashboard. It also gives many error profiling / tracing options to understand the problem more clearly. Another good thing is the MySQL performance suggestions. With New Relic you can see which query uses the most time to be executed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are running website you need to have New Relic APM to get perfromance reporting related to your server(s). They also provide a free version which is very useful to get started.

What do you like best about the product?
Fantastic API and BI applications. Our development team provides us iwth visual representations of our client health and promotes our adoption practices for our clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the data points we capture in our DB aren't able to be exported into our instance of New Relic. However, I still give a 9/10.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increased ability for our team to showcase value and ROI for our clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ensure you have the right team of developers helping implement the insights and putting them into action.

good product for granular monitoring

What do you like best about the product?
It is a easy to get to use and learn tool to monitor both web and other transactional apps in the organization. The set up documentation was very user friendly for us to test this product with a quick ramp up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once set up if we need to refer for maximizing usage of the features available with available documentation, the documentation is not very detailed and hence does not help us to get to the next level. However, they have a user forum which can be leveraged.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We tested the relic browser for real time monitoring of security alerts to see if we can get on top of issues at a very stage and the product did a good job of providing basic monitoring.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
do a granular testing for the use case in the business to ensure that it does what you want it to do

What do you like best about the product?
It doesn’t just ‘monitor’ different aspects of our work, but it also connects them in a comprehensive union. I was pleased to discover that response time can be divided in backend layers.I like that it didn’t take me days to set it up, and even if I was suspicious at the beginning, I received a feature-packed monitoring system. Performance is outstanding so far, having in mind that we’re only using a free plan to keep an eye on our service. Imagine what an upper plan could do!
What do you dislike about the product?
0There is nothing about New Relic APM I don't like.!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We located and defeated many ill-performing queries, removed delays and bottlenecks in our server desk IO and traffic charge. The list of benefits is quite long.Every time the application went down, I was able to identify the problem and to solve it too.!

What do you like best about the product?
I like the amount of detail the reporitng can show and the uniqneness of the alerts that can be set. The email notifications are clear when viewing them if you are just waking up or get alerted in the middle of the night about a happenstance. I can easily find the problem with flexibility in the amount of detail I can set in the titles. I have full control in what I can control it is telling me at a certain time.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about the software is how certain categories are named. There are many different methods of reporting and you have to be certain what each alert is reporting the way you want it to, otherwise if the server fails and none of the reports show an issue, you are screwed. Hover over options can be super useful, but none are implemented. I also dislike the amount of detail the walk throughs go into with setting up, say, insights for certain processes. The documentation for how to do that with certain taks can be better worded, or be more in detail as a walk through.,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping our virtual and physical server farms up and running. Benefits are around the clock reporting with detailed historical info for each. We don;t have to consume as much onsite resources.

New Relic Monitoring

What do you like best about the product?
We use new relic APM to monitor services, apps and data processing performance. For any degradation in performances, we get email alerts which is awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike till now. No complains.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We do not have to constantly look at our monitoring dashboards. For any performance issues, we get alerts from new relic. It also helps management make provisioning decisions for processing jobs.
