Best online learning tool
What do you like best about the product?
I always believe that people should not stop learning, for this reason, even in this my age, I'm always trying to learn new things from Coursera, I have started to learn some data science techniques or at least the basics, that's great, the way they set the program curriculum is just a pure professionality, I like their mobile app as well, it gives more flexibility, you can study wherever you want, another VERY useful functionality of them is financial aid, I strongly advise this to students, it's something rare in this century! Keep going, and good luck!
What do you dislike about the product?
I like the way how we're graded by our peers, but sometimes they're being very critical and absurd somehow, I would love if Coursera would find a way to solve this problem, another way, for example, if you want to apply for a financial aid for some course and for example, it has 5 modules inside, so you have to write 5 different financial aids, which somehow can make students feel demotivated and the time between the aids are approved can demotivate as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whatever I want to learn, I'm just heading to Coursera, simply I believe their courses' productivity
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Whenever you want to have some real quality courses that you want to pressure on it, and learn it how, coursera will exactly help, their courses are really interesting and you cannot even get yourself away from the computer screen, just use it !
Coursera
What do you like best about the product?
Coursera is a helpful source for the knowledge for the people who don't have access to the prof advance materials from the top-ranked university
What do you dislike about the product?
Coursera charges high for the basic courses. There should be a difference between the pricing of the basic course and advance course
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I try to improve my skill from the course which would boost my career
Coursera for undergraduate students!
What do you like best about the product?
Coursera provides me with helpful lessons in various fields, especially when I could not find the course I can learn in my academic program at university!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike about coursera.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coursera gives me a chance to engage in e-learning effectively. It not only gives you a video lecture but it also has quiz and other collaborative assignment in a forum platform. This helps make you get to know other people while still studying. Coursera also builds up this forum in order for students/learners to explore ideas other people have within a same assignment.
Coursera is a great platform for education purposes
What do you like best about the product?
Coursera's courses are extremely good. They are well designed and being a full employee I really appreciate the fact of how well they are designed. They are very up-to-date in topics of interest and new courses. It has the widest catalog of courses and all of them with a certification given by Coursera in name of a professional institution like universities. They also have programs together with universities that allow you to get a Masters Degree and Specializations, which is awesome. There are also assignments to test your skills, this is a great way to evaluate yourself.
What do you dislike about the product?
The problem with Coursera is the moderation in the forums. From the new courses I have taken, many of my classmates were criticized heavily or bullied by other classmates for asking questions in the forum. This hasn't gotten any attention from the forum moderators which makes the community feel uneasy with helping each other. Most of the courses and the related materials used to be freely available on Coursera. However, with the recent changes, some of the courses are categorized into specific tracks, and they are not free anymore. Finally, some courses are only available on specific dates and I have missed out on classes I was really interested in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At this point I'm using Coursera personally to gain insight into different facets of my job, and different job types that I interact with. Because DevOps is a fairly broad field, I feel there is always a possibility to gain more insight into the roles of my colleagues either on the Dev side or on the Ops side. I feel this makes me a more relatable asset and a better go-between for some of the more head down assets in the company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Coursera is an online learning platform that offers courses taught by the best professors in the world. Hence, investing in learning through Coursera is guaranteed to have high returns. As the Coursera certifications are becoming widely known, if someone is trying to build a career on a specific track, taking Coursera courses for certifications is highly recommended.
It is a great resource if you have an interest in something, but do not want to take a full college course or go back to college. If you want to stay busy and build some skills casually, this is a great alternative to a college. It also helps boost a resume, as it shows you are genuinely interested in learning new things and growing.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Coursera since I was a college student. The thing I love most about this e-learning platform is how full of the most useful course is! I have done a lot of courses to keep my skills update and Coursera Courses content is always a trend and update. Technology area has courses from beginner level to experts which allows me to do a personal challenge to stay motivated with my own learning pass.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about Coursera. But I have done courses that haven't had the best quality video and audio which is uncomfortable because you're paying for high-quality content. However, I understand that this is not a problem of Coursera itself but of Universities and people in charge of each course or specialize program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I was studying I was able to practice my knowledge and increase my professional expertise outside my college because laboral market made me feel anxious. Ever since the moment, I realize that taking courses and put what I knew in practice makes me feel updated and confident I keep continuing doing courses at Coursera.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My recommendation to everyone is trying it! If you want to acquire knowledge or practice what you already know this is one of the best ways because if you don0t want certification, you can access to each course for free without completing any task! When you're working in the Technology area like me is really important to stay up to date with our skills and knowledge.

Coursera offers superb content from lecturers in top universities that can be obtained mostly freely, however without certification, and some courses are not free at all requiring a fee to enroll.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Coursera, I have been able to acquire knowledge and skills in various disciplines of interest. Having recently taken an epidemiology course with regards to recent outbreaks of diseases in my area, I have been able to understand the dynamics of disease and spread, and have been able to share the knowledge with my workmates and the people around me therefore creating awareness and increasing both productivity and safety. I have also completed an entrepreneurial course which has helped develop innovative ideas at the workplace.

Coursera gives you an amazing learning experience
What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can learn pretty much anything for essentially free (unless you want a certificate which is just an additional reasonable fee of about $50 or so). You can either improve your knowledge to help you with school or just learn for fun. It's also a great hobby for anyone who wants to gain skills in something they could not have the time or money for otherwise.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints because it is such a valuable website with endless opportunities. Great for anyone interested in or involved in academia. Also amazing chance to meet like-minded students and faculty and bounce ideas off each other.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am improving my knowledge for medical school and the courses available (physiology, neurology) have improved my grades in school. I am learning so much more than I would if I were just engaged in school by itself.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely take advantage of the many topics available for learning. I would recommend auditing a course at first if you are not sure about paying full price, but I have personally paid for the certificate and it has been a great asset for LinkedIn and my CV in general.
