What do you dislike about the product?
Most of the people I know use Windows, and even at my office, we all have to use windows. Compatibility is not a strong suit yet, but hopefully, one day, I shall be able to use UBUNTU SOLELY, and not have to jump from one computer to another.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some computers are a bit outdated and cannot be upgraded and we face some issues trying to install Windows 10 on them so, in order to keep using them longer, we install UBUNTU and it runs like magic on them: UBUNTU adapts itself to your existing hardware and does not force you to have a minimal setting. This is a major plus in UBUNTU's favor, and I think this is what gives it an edge over others and why, in my opinion, UBUNTU will become soon enough the standard in OS.
A lot of my USB keys develop problems and windows refuses to recognize them. I use UBUNTU to troubleshoot and revive them. Also, since UGUNTU does not contract viruses accidentally, I use it as my internet server gateway for more added protection. The stability it offers is exemplary. I just wish other OS would follow in its footsteps.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
UBUNTU can be a bit intimidating at first but, once you get used to it, trust me: it will be the only OS you want to ever use. Almost all applications have a LINUX version that you can use or you can just install "WINE" and run original apps under UBUNTU.
Even if you have an old machine, do not worry: UBUNTU will re-compile itself to better run on it. It adapts itself to your hardware and will work like magic on almost anything you install it on.

Daily Ubuntu user review
What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu is the best OS of linux , it is the sweet spot between windows and Linux , very user-friendly and easy to use, I am using ubuntu in my organization and I have not a single complaint about the user experience that Ubuntu provide to its end users. It is a very lightweight OS loads fast on power-on and closes instantly on power-off. If you are using SSD on ubuntu that will be hell-fast. I use VS code and IntelliJ on Ubuntu to develop web applications and it runs those software very smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be tricky to install ubuntu for new users, who are new to Linux environment, software updates are limited to ubuntu which can sometimes be a tedious task. otherwise, ubuntu does give any chance of complaint to its users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a software developer, I use ubuntu terminal and other apps like VS code to develop code, test the application, run the servers and ubuntu provides a really good experience in doing all those things. Due to its lightweight OS it runs very smoothly over the system and consumes very less resources to run OS so you have more free resources to do your tasks and all.

Even with years of experience with Linux, I sometimes struggle with the installation of applications. Specifically, there are several methods of application installation depending upon which distros are used. In some cases, the installations require me to search for the exact method to perform depending on how the application is packaged.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ubuntu is our host platform for embedded Linux builds.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Plan your installation. Consider the hardware resources, memory, storage, etc. that will provide the performance you will need.
