An amazing Operating system with all linux features and customising support
What do you like best about the product?
This operating system is the lite system developed on linux shell by which it supports all the linux prebuilt features and this makes it light in weight. Even it support wide range of devices and we can customise it according to our needs by which it's security can be increased to an extreme level.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it supports linux features as it is based on linux shell but this will makes it easy deployable and it's security can be void easily too. It also contains some bugs and it's GUI is also not so friendly as every time it requires to be coded on terminal in order to install or unistall any software or services in the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being an associate system engineering freelancer I need to completely work on Linux and also at several times my college PC's are not that much efficient for latest operating system by which they need to be operated on ubuntu. At times when I need to deploy my Hadoop servers than also I require linux based systems and always I prefer to use ubuntu because of it's easiness and pre-installed softwares.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is an amazing system that is built on linux shell by which any of the linux based softwares and services can be used. Moreover anyone can customise it according to their requirements.

A modernised linux based operating system with vast features.
What do you like best about the product?
It will help to use nearly all features of linux and also it's interface is very interactive, it is so user friendly that anyone who kniws to operate computer can easily handle it. It also provide a lot of features which usually not visible in windows. It also allows you to customise its setting and privacy which give you all the power to handle each sector of your computer well. You can use it on your phone too it supports the feature to make it visible on cell phones and on windows also. It is very powerful if we talk of it's power to take remote access to any other device.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it is easy to handle and it's GUI is also very attractive but inorder to add or remove software one could have prior knowledge of coding and also it interrupts after every successful completion of any code. This will annoy a lot and being a security concern it also has many security flaws which will be customised with the help of some settings or 3rd party applications. Being an Operating system it should be must that you have to keep some sort of security that is not visible in Ubuntu.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I am a security analyst so I need to use Linux regularly with some sort of regular updates. Due to its light weight and simplicity I mostly prefer to use Ubuntu, it will also help to set up my hadoop server locally so that I can operate with bigdata easily with less consumption of ram.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are a computer freak than you should try this operating system once as it has simple design and supported on less ram based computers too. It also provides efficiency to customise any of the sector of computer that is so usefull that you can setup your computer on your own. It also works through live usb which will help when you have some less work on it. You can use it virtually also that will help you to operate it on your host machine's operating system.

Ubuntu is an freely open source platform for the developers. Which is very secure, user friendly and well amazing there operating system in it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I personally observe that after I use Ubuntu my laptop take more Battery consumption and some applications are not install in ubuntu.

I used Ubuntu for my office use purpose.. In which I need help fast processing operating systems,Data security , and user friendly..

What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu is a great operating system, based on Linux its has great UI features. Ubuntu works with Desktops, Laptops, and Servers as well. Ubuntu has Separate editions, support with different levels of tasks and devices. Ubuntu has a DEsktop and Laptop version, Server version, Cloud version, and IoT version as well. Apart from those versions, Ubuntu has flavor editions for armoured with special tasks Kubuntu, Lubuntu, Ubuntu Budgie, Ubuntu Kylin, Ubuntu MATE, Ubuntu Studio and Xubuntu, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ubuntu is totally free for use with both personal and corporate users as well. Supports with the PCs, Laptops, Virtual environments latest hardware and old hardware and supports with mobile devices as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used Ubuntu from more than ten years ago, it helps to develop open-source applications with the latest Linux distribution technologies. Ubuntu is comfortable with many open source free tools, including LibreOffice, Media players, Video and Graphic design tools and many more. Ubuntu saves the Processing power and RAM consuming power as well.

Attractive interface with limited beginner options
What do you like best about the product?
I recently installed Ubuntu on an old netbook, which became too slow for MS WIN10. It installed without problems and had every driver inside to make ik work. It runs nicely on less performant machines. Even the drivers for the touch-screen were present. I was surprised by the fluidity and the interface. It is really nice-looking, understandable and has all you need from scratch.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of the advanced options, like installing programs or change settings, can or must be done by command prompt instructions. This need a certain knowlegde I don't master
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I installed Ubuntu to bring back alive an old netbook. At the beginning i was rather sceptic, but now I opened my eyes. Now I am experimenting with it

For now Ubuntu seems to handle very nice and well. Attractive and user friendly interface with clear icons. Most of the basic software like email and office software are pre-installed, but there is also a software app where you can choose other soft. If you want to go deeper into ubuntu, you must really invest some time and effort to learn and understand the command prompt instructions. These can be very powerfull but you must know wat you are doing.

Ubuntu is a open source operating system so it is free to use. It is very easy to install and setup . It is Linux based operating system which makes it more secure for our data saved in it. It is so easy to use that before starting to use it I don't need any learning about how to use this operating system. Best part of this operating system is that I can change it as per my requirements by changing its user interface . It is a perfect operating system for any software developer.

There is nothing to dislike in this operating system as it's interface is so user friendly and interactive which makes my work more easier and it's software compatibility is also so good .

This operating system allows me to do my job with full potential as I can install any software that I want to make my work more effective. It is a light weight and easy to use operating system which is secured also which provide me the confidence that my data is safe and their is no leak of data . If any error occur in operating system I don't have to wait for the respond of customer service as I can personally fix it by getting information from open source. It's software compatibility is also very good that I can install any software without any problem . I make different types of tool using Ubuntu and they work very well. It's every update is so good which makes my work more easier . I use this operating system for my day to day life and for work life also.

Ubuntu app manager have almost all applications for a developer use it also have terminal which makes all debugging stuff programming work application installation very quick and easy.

Ubuntu restart time is pretty higher than other OS.

What do you like best about the product?
Less configuration to get started. Package management is good part ubuntu has given for end user.
User friendly in terms of UI and Command Line tooling. People with minimal technical background can get started easily. Performance wise faster than other Operating System. Consumes less hardware resources

What do you dislike about the product?
User Interface is not much sophisticated as needed. Legacy graphics engine can be changed with proprietary one. It would be useful to developer who mostly relie on graphics power.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently I am using it as my primary desktop. Even if I upgrade it with latest distribution still works the best possible way. As I am from IT background I am utilizing it for Development purpose. Software and Application development etc.

If your from IT background or considering Web based product development or cloud based service provision. I would definitely recomment to use Ubuntu than any other operating system. It work nicely and will best fit your requirement.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a very good operating system, it has a lot of new features In this, I save my files in different formats In this, all the software of office work is run very easily its too comfortable my team is connected with me through this, I can operate it anytime anywhere.

I don't feel anything that I dislike Operating system It is such a ultimate whenever it brings updates, some new feature is added to it which I like very much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
May I do all the work of my office in it, any file gets shared easily, my team also using it, it does not hang at all like other OS. I make conference calls with my entire team through video calls, we share the task ourselves Its voice quality is very good. Through this, I make files in different formats very easily and share them also, this makes my work much easier.

This is very good and quite useful for every organization, it should be use in every workplace

The lack of support for some major softwares which run on Windows and Mac are not available on Ubuntu like Unity.

We were developing android applications and writing backend code.
