Best Linux Distribution for Work
What do you like best about the product?
Less configuration to get started. Package management is good part ubuntu has given for end user.
User friendly in terms of UI and Command Line tooling. People with minimal technical background can get started easily. Performance wise faster than other Operating System. Consumes less hardware resources

What do you dislike about the product?
User Interface is not much sophisticated as needed. Legacy graphics engine can be changed with proprietary one. It would be useful to developer who mostly relie on graphics power.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently I am using it as my primary desktop. Even if I upgrade it with latest distribution still works the best possible way. As I am from IT background I am utilizing it for Development purpose. Software and Application development etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your from IT background or considering Web based product development or cloud based service provision. I would definitely recomment to use Ubuntu than any other operating system. It work nicely and will best fit your requirement.

Amazing experience with Ubuntu
What do you like best about the product?
It is a very good operating system, it has a lot of new features In this, I save my files in different formats In this, all the software of office work is run very easily its too comfortable my team is connected with me through this, I can operate it anytime anywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't feel anything that I dislike Operating system It is such a ultimate whenever it brings updates, some new feature is added to it which I like very much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
May I do all the work of my office in it, any file gets shared easily, my team also using it, it does not hang at all like other OS. I make conference calls with my entire team through video calls, we share the task ourselves Its voice quality is very good. Through this, I make files in different formats very easily and share them also, this makes my work much easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is very good and quite useful for every organization, it should be use in every workplace

It's simple and yet so powerful to help us developers write powerful code and the bash line interface makes it easier for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of support for some major softwares which run on Windows and Mac are not available on Ubuntu like Unity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were developing android applications and writing backend code.

Its good for development purposes but graphical tasks are not possible as many softwares are not supported.

What do you like best about the product?
I like it very much because it is very different from other operating systems. There are a lot of new software in it which are very easy to use so that my work gets finished quickly and also saves a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had a issue yet to dislike Ubuntu. As it keeps on updating, it does not have problems. Because after updates it eliminates the bugs it brings and something new which is need.

I use it in both my personal and office purposes in office applications such as word processing software and spreadsheets by capturing, displaying, and manipulating data arranged in rows and columns. In this, I also watch videos and the games are also run very good. its does not show such slowdowns comparing other OS

In ubuntu we can easily updated the system through use of command (Ubuntu terminal). Since it is Faster and more secure and best operating system in it.

1).In ubuntu users faces difficultiesto install graphic drivers in it specifically if there has old hardware.

Ubuntu is customizable from the moment you install it. It Can Be Updated Without Restarting the computer.

I recommend Ubuntu to everyone, organization users and single users etc. It is free and customizable/flexible as per the user needs. It has better security features and has fastest processing.

A few years back, when I started working as a software in my previously working organization. The team member said we are using ubuntu operating for the development because it is very fast and also error-free as well. Also, it has a very good update policy and plan. Unlike, other operating where update takes too much time and sometimes updates the software by the system itself without asking the user.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the Ubuntu operating system is not for the beginners, which means you should have proper knowledge of this tool. Mainly, in Ubuntu almost for everything, we write commands by using the terminal.

Best operating system for running shell script commands.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In the Ubuntu environment you have written commands into the terminal by installing software and deleting software etc. This stuff quite tricky for the naive user. Due to the fact that, if someone's career just started and use the Ubuntu operating without any supervision then he might be facing some problem in the beginning. I am not saying it is impossible and just saying that for a naive user it is not a good operating system.

i used ubuntu for almost 4 years. from my perspective ubuntu is best among other distributions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mostly nothing, every this is fine for me.

I working as a security analyst so i need lots of scripts to use at the time of working. Ubuntu makes easy to use.

Nothing every features to users already exist and easy to use for new linux users.

Ubunto has wide range of software that includes LibreOffice, Firefox, Thunderbird, Transmission, and several lightweight games.. It has better os processing system and the application which easily grid or used virtualize processing . Best battery life.

Most of the application are not run in ubuntu. Users sometimes difficulties to operate it.

Every times of updation the processing was fast and every time something new was I see in it.secure bugs were now easy nd storage all files on cloud or backup were now easily maintain on cloud.

Ubuntu Server
What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu Server is my favorite flavor of Linux. We have hundreds of virtual Ubuntu Servers in our production environment and it's by far the easiest to maintain. Overall this is a 10/10 OS and I would recommend to anyone who is either wanting to learn Linux or has plenty of Linux experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only dislike is that in 18.04 they changed where to edit the network configuration, but that's more of an annoyance than anything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefits we see are the resources required to run the operating system. Ubuntu (much like most Linux flavors) are not resource intensive, so it makes the overall functionality of the machine run much smoother.
