Qlik Sense is helping to become Data Driven and Data Literate
What do you like best about the product?
Qlik Sense allows our business partners to explore their data in a way they never have before allowing them to gain new insights into their business and help drive direction.
What do you dislike about the product?
Qlik Sense, out of the box, does not have tools to help with DevOps/DataOps functionality, such as source code management, code promotion through environments, shared development. We have had to turn to 3rd party products to cover these gaps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are helping our Executives achieve new insights which help them drive direction for the company. We are also helping our Sales reps have much more productive site visits as they have all the data they need right at their fingertips while on-site.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Qlik is a great product that can offer a ton of value to your organization. From basic dashboards, to embedded analytics, and everything in between, it will help your business gain new insights into your company's information store.

What do you dislike about the product?
The user sync is not stable enough for a big user base
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Presenting insights from customer review data, generate predictions for future guidance.
Generating multiple charts and objects for presenting user's data in an analytical way.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
User Friendly, Data literarcy, Analytical tools and data visualization
A solid and functional BI tool that is improving
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to get started. Users like the app in an enterprise setting.
When using other Qlik products they integrate well.
If you are a View environment and want to move to a more user friendly self service environment this would be a good migration.
The road map is solid, if you can be patient and update constantly Qlik has a good plan.
Mobile integration is solid.
On the admin side, server management is great, I would rate it better than several other tools I have used. User management is great.

What do you dislike about the product?
Half baked features. Work in process tool improvements that could make life easier but seemingly feel abandoned.
Not using SQL/Data standards for customizing and shaping your data in app is frustrating. Set analysis and the methods for shaping data are not intuitive.
Too much reliance on integration of other Qlik tools.
nPrinting is a terrible solution.
Version control is terrible unless you invest in another Qlik tool.
Too much reliance on extensions, and the official Qlik Branch site for extensions is poorly maintained. Too much reliance on partner products for things that should just be in the app.
Barely any good documentation or up to date training books and or classes out side of the official Qlik ones.
Community feels very hit or miss, and many solutions provided require hard work arounds or are unusable in most environments.

Enterprise reporting and self service reporting. Users like having an enterprise tool accessed from any location that is easy to start on their app development.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If are already a Qlik customer with View, Sense is a no brainer. It is easier to implement global self service and get end users up and running.
If using QVD files and other Qlik products it makes sense as well. Definitely test against all major BI tools. Sense has a place and is perfectly functional. Architectural review will be key to ensure performance, and user testing before making any decision as well. Ultimately I think a lot of the decision hinges on whether or not you are okay with reliance on extensions or want a totally out of the box solution. Sense is not 100% an out of the box solution, even if it is trending in that direction.

The best embedded iPaaS solution for SaaS companies
What do you like best about the product?
While most of the other iPaaS vendors were designed for enterprise use cases, Blendr is designed from the ground up specifically for SaaS companies, providing the flexibility and the tools required to empower their product with integrations with the most relevant ecosystems.
Blendr is one of the few products in the market, if not the only one, that allows you to design not only the integration flow, but also the setup and setting flow, making possible to create generic and reusable templates that adapt to the needs of a multitude of clients without having to maintain many variants.
The hub is very well-architected and allows getting up and running literally in a matter of days, while exploring and investing in the more advanced embedded capabilities.
The connectors catalog is impressive, but even more the extreme availability and agility of the Blendr team in handling the development of new connectors or endpoints, making the potential virtually unlimited.
The platform is fast, scalable and reliable, capable of handling a large number of executions also in real-time without any problems.
The SaaS APIs are complete and well documented, they have everything needed.
Sales, demo, and integration process was extremely fast; I've got the connector with our own product built and fully operational the day after the first sales call.

What do you dislike about the product?
The product is quite technical if you want to benefit from all the capabilities, but the learning curve is smooth. You get to the more complex functionalities only if and when you need them.
The UI can be improved, but overall the tool is easy to use and extremely functional.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blendr allowed building a catalog of connectors toward the most relevant software in our ecosystem, empowering customers to activate data into their stack no matter what they use.
Relying on Belndr allowed the team to focus on the most valuable initiatives related to the core value proposition.
The expansion of the potential integration in the ecosystem also allowed to expand the target market without worrying about their specific stack.

Great partner, great product
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to setup, support team always available for helping and improve the product from customers' feedback
What do you dislike about the product?
some few bugs as every product, but the difference is that their support team is great and they are always available to hear our feedback
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use blendr to provide native integrations to 3rd party app for our product
Recommendations to others considering the product:
talk with the support team and they will help you
Experiences migration of all Qlik View apps to Qlik Sense
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use for "end-users" and developers
Many connectors for different sources
Responsive Design --> Show on any device
5 Releases per anno --> Gaps between Qlik View and Sense getting closer / high innovation rate
Very good Community / Support

What do you dislike about the product?
Still some missing functions in comparison to Qlik View
No write back or alterting functionality "out of the box" --> only via extensions available

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First we used Qlik Sense only to create Dashboards for our Supply Chain (Forecast Accuracy, Inventory Reporting, Purchasing Cockpit, Production Reporting, Customer Service Level, Master Data Quality, etc.)
But in the meantime also other departments recognized the success and the power to make decisions based on data. So Controlling, Logistics and Sales Department are using Qlik now. The Quality department and HR will be the next departments...
So one benefit is to "push" our company to a data driven company by using Qlik Sense.
Other benefits are: Savings of more than 220.000 EUR for better inventory allocation (transport of slow/no moving items from one plant to another plant with requirements)
Transparency and much better control of our Supply Chain
With Qlik Sense "BI" makes fun. The SAP Business Warehouse was not very user-friendly and so nobody used that system and therefore we had no reporting at all (only Excel sheets)
And now we can avoid the "monkey business" to downlad tons of data manually from SAP and create time conusming Excel-files.
No we have time to analyze the data we don't spend any time for preparation

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure that you have actual information. There are 5 releases / year with tons of new stuff. So if I compare the version November 2018 with June 2020 it's amazing what you can do now with Qlik Sense.
Start with a "Seeing is believing" Workshop and you'll find out very quick that Qlik Sense will match your requirements.

Avoid custom development and integration headaches with Blendr.io
What do you like best about the product?
It's relatively easy to connect multiple datasources with Blendr. When you run into trouble the support team is pretty awesome too. It's a good fit for most martech stacks where you want to avoid custom development or where you want to have technical marketeers be in control of exchanging data between applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Still needs some work on the user interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting datasources (audience management) and automating lead flows (collect, clean, send)
Gaining Insights through Analytics using Qlik Sense
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to create a central reporting platform with governed security rules allows all your users to see the same version of the data and not be able to manipulate data like with spreadsheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it is not the most expensive product on the market, using Qlik Sense does come at a substantial price. The product does not include all the features and additional features need to be purchased as add ons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The automatic reloads in Qlik Sense have allowed us to automatically update reports on an hourly basis, within seconds, that took us hours to prepare. Now we can analyze and use the data rather than spending time preparing the data. The speed and availability of analytic ready data are now available regularly which has enabled us to take action on the insights gained.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Qlik Sense has been a great addition to our business and has empowered us to utilize more of our data.
Qlik offers a variety of options that even suit the smaller customer, might be worth looking at the Qlik cloud option.

Good BI dashboarding tool and powerful ETL tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to create throwaway apps using different data sources. Managing many-to-many relations is a breeze with the tool. Variables and master items are pretty handy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how hard it is to maintain some sort of framework (compared to Cognos). The QMC interface could use some more work as all the popup windows are too small to my liking and some options are not easily available without the API.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are providing dashboards to our users by mixing multiple data sources together.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a good software but keep in mind it's using a lot of partners for multiple third-party extensions and it gets costly very fast (even though the initial price is low).
