Effortless Image Management, Minor UI Challenges

  • December 01, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how Cloudinary allows me to store images on the cloud with ease and retrieve them without needing to compress or edit them beforehand. The ability to store images using their API and then request them simply by calling the URL with appropriate parameters is incredibly convenient. Cloudinary handles transformations and other tasks in the background, which saves me a lot of time and effort. Furthermore, setting up Cloudinary was quite straightforward, and its integration through API calls is greatly simplified, especially with the assistance of AI. Overall, I enjoy the service a lot because it performs exceptionally well, even though I have mentioned some minor concerns.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the UI of Cloudinary to be somewhat complicated and feel that it could be more modern and user-friendly. Additionally, I feel that the pricing can become quite high once a certain threshold is reached.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Cloudinary to store images easily on the cloud, retrieve them with URL transformations, and avoid pre-editing, which simplifies image management for my open source project.

Efficient Asset Management with Room for Improvement

  • November 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Cloudinary for its capability to upload and store creative assets and website assets, essentially acting as a cloud for our photography. It solves the problem of accessing our storage from anywhere, which is incredibly convenient for my workflow. The ease of creating a link and sending it to coworkers enhances collaboration and sharing efficiency. I also love the categories feature that helps refine my search, making it easier to locate specific assets quickly. The initial setup of Cloudinary was quite straightforward, contributing to a smooth transition and user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it challenging that when I upload assets to Cloudinary, they don't upload directly to specified folders. Instead, they go into a general pool of assets, requiring additional steps to move them over. I also wish there was functionality for conducting image searches using an image as the search query.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Cloudinary to easily upload and access creative assets from anywhere, simplifying the process of sharing links with coworkers.

Cloudinary makes asset management easy!

  • November 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The digital DAM makes it easy for us to share assets across our company. The API is very robust and feature-rich, allowing us to carry out all of the dev work that's needed.

The developer support and customer support team are very knowledgable and quick to respond to any issues we have had.

The SDKs allow us to quickly and easy implement uploads into our existing system with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no S3-compliant APIs that allow us to modify existing credentials, we had to completely refresh our integrations which involved an element of dev time.

We have experienced a few bugs with misleading errors from the edge and CDN, which have involved a few developer support team members.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Content delivery and image optimization across multiple devices.
