Power of NoSQL in the form of SQL
What do you like best about the product?
One of my favorite distributed SQL database with the scalability and flexibility of a NoSQL database, it also support ad-hoc queries using standard SQL syntax. Using it's cluster feature we can run thousands of records per second in real-time, and it's also easily integrable with containerization tools like kubernates, AWS and Azure. I highly suggest this for real-time big data project
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to say but needs to support triggers and contraints like native SQL
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily I am working on real-time big data projects, so it's very challenging to manage and retrieve data fastly especially when searching is involve by using the text search capability of crateDB we can easily accomplish this task.

Very Professional Implemented platform
What do you like best about the product?
This is one of my favorite software because of its ease of use very ease to create a database, It can handle a massive amount of data, and it provides solutions in our database developers
What do you dislike about the product?
It cost a lot when you're planning to store a large amount of database, and it has no proper tutorial for first-time users like us; it supports some SQL, but most of all, I like it as my primary database software
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The storing, fetching, and sorting of data is significantly less time consuming, and it can handle the massive volume of data somehow, and I'm astonished the platform can take that amount of data
Recommendations to others considering the product:
They should use JSON functions for a more reliable experience and support other SQL queries
Process Data Fastly
What do you like best about the product?
CrateDb is one of my favorite Database management systems. It is very fast in processing data as compared to other relational database management systems I have used. It is easy to create databases in CrateDb.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not dislike any thing about CrateDb.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a software engineer, and I always work on databases and programming languages . I used "CrateDb" to design schemas and develop databases for storing the data and fetching the data within less time as compared to other software which are used for the same purpose.
The main benefit that I have using CrateDb is that it saves my time.
The main benefit that I have using CrateDb is that it saves my time.
CrateIO brings the power of SQL and NoSQL
What do you like best about the product?
Version 2 of CrateDB features new authorization tools, Also they improved monitoring dashboard and support for user-defined functions which makes your real-time database more powerful than before.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no enough tutorials out there that teaches your how to properly setup your database and integrate it with other apps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its a great way to track your sensor data as i used it in many of my hardware projects and it did really great in terms of speed. Also you can perform queries in real-time and the results are fascinating.
CrateDB is the best open source SQL database for real-time analytics.
What do you like best about the product?
CrateDB which is CrateIO's project makes machine data applications that previously were found only in NoSQL solutions available to developers who use SQL. It can handle large amount of messy data and acquire it in real-time. It also provides support for JSON and other structured and unstructured data.
What do you dislike about the product?
They only support very basic SQL. For example, joins are not supported. And i think the best thing in SQL is taking advantage of the relational model.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I deal with machine data for some of my college projects regarding embedded systems and IoT and also for some side projects. So i often use CrateDB to store and query these data. This is because CrateDB makes it easy to handle the volume of machine and log data. While also querying terabytes of data in real time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You should definitely try the power of combining SQL and NoSQL foundations.
No one mixed SQL database with No SQL before!
What do you like best about the product?
I have never seen this speed in SQL queries before that happens in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It needs a very powerful and reliable database which costs a lot of money.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Their fast search which happens in real time while you have tons of data is insane. This makes a huge difference in user experience in web or mobile applications.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
CrateIO is different, believe me mixing between SQL and NoSQL makes difference in performance that SQL or NoSQL alone can't make.
