CB CI
What do you like best about the product?
Feature rich, which makes the software development efficient
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning process sometimes takes time. Use standardization as much as possible possible
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation is one of the key benefits. I wonder if you offer IaC automation with different technologies
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Automation and self-service are essential for the success
Scalable to fulfil requirements of large scale enterprises
What do you like best about the product?
The Kubernetes based container template reduced the chaos of maintaining tons of plugins, and isolation of desired software with the individual container is awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found performance issues. We face problems while spinning up the containers, and even the UI of the controller loads very slowly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have isolated the jobs of different teams to dedicated controllers, and plugin chaos was a big issue that is solved now. The Jenkinsfile source code as pipeline helped us organize and secure the definition of different jobs across the teams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Work on the scalability of overall product performance.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using cloudBees CI to build, test and deploy embedded softwares. This software are used in different automotive component
CloudBees is a fantastic tool for controlling Jenkins
What do you like best about the product?
CloudBees has a remarkable capacity to make optimal use of Kubernetes clusters, and that's one of the reasons I liked it so much. As a result, a container deployment is a viable option, making scaling up and down based on demand a cinch. Using the plugin template function, we can prevent users from downloading any 3rd party plugins, thereby ensuring that we have less issues with Jenkins instances due to plugins and upgrade incompatibilities. This is a really valuable tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost and licensing model is something I despise much. In order to make this more efficient, it may be simplified. There are no SaaS options for Lean teams who simply need the basic functionality of Cloudbees compared to competitors like Azure DevOps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CloudBees ' security capabilities allow us to implement role-based security, which is wonderful. There are several advantages to using pipeline templates, including the fact that they allow teams to get up and running quickly without having to start from scratch. Over a third of our effort has been saved as a result of this. Additionally, cloud bees has a self-service feature that enables teams to complete a form and set up their pipelines in an automated manner.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
CloudBees is a fantastic solution for managing numerous Jenkins instances and deploying an enterprise-level Jenkins environment, and the CloudBees crew provides excellent customer service. Organize and streamline the use of Jenkins. In order to centralize Jenkins and provide a framework for rapid beginnings with Jenkins and DevOps journeys, we turned to Cloudbees.
For an enterprise company, Cloudbees may be set up in a variety of ways
What do you like best about the product?
Master clustering options and official plugin support. Technically, the tool may be easily integrated into your CICD chain with other tools. The API provided by the CloubBees is really welcoming. There are a lot of official plugins to choose from on the plugin site, which is fantastic since you can receive help from CloudBees.
What do you dislike about the product?
The support site's authentication approach might be improved, in my opinion. There is an air of antiquity about the Cloudbees network gateway. The monitoring capacity appears to be a distinct offering as well, which I find weird. It is my opinion that all of these drawbacks are a huge downside and might be a game-changer in the near future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For our client's benefit, we're developing a really popular and useful product without the need for a large number of in-house specialists at the highest levels. It provides us with tested plugins and upgrades. We can update our platform with confidence, knowing that it has been well tested and is compatible with the plugins we use on a regular basis.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
CloudBees customer service has always been able to help me handle any issues I've presented to them. CloudBees has always provided me with the assurance that if anything ever went wrong or we had any issues, they would be there for us.
Extensibility via plugin ecosystem and current cloud strategy
What do you like best about the product?
On top of everything else, this was our worst time of year to join the ship. A few Cloudbees went out of their way to get our sophisticated environment up and operating during the annual business meeting in Spain. Thanks to them, everyone is OK, and things are rolling along well.
What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints here, Our tickets have been answered despite their heavy workload. Attempting to perform the task yourself is difficult because it's so time-consuming. It's a cinch to use them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's the subject matter that I selected as the top pick. Our team benefits significantly from the use of the multi-master since it saves them time and headaches. This allows for a variety of plugins, versions, and configurations to be created. We also have mac agents that are shared by all the managed masters linked to Cloudbees core.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Continuos testing and deployment of new applications. Flexibility in administering CI/CD solutions at scale; simplicity of administration, and improved cooperation are just some of the benefits of the plugin ecosystem's breadth and depth.
single and bulk commits are available to entire development team

The CloudBees CD Auto DevOps delivered the right technology for true CD.
What do you dislike about the product?
When the team was being being trained the process of transitioning to CloudBees CD was not a one time thing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All our legacy build environments migrated to CloudBees CD. Moving to CloudBees CD also allowed to meet the code review preferences of our entire development team with ease
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your sights are firmly set on the future, migrate from outdated backend architecture to CloudBees CD which is more of a cloud-centric framework
CloudBees- A powerful and a reliable tool for CI

What do you dislike about the product?
No major issues as of now. It is indeed a great tool for beginners and with time , I guess it will be matured to tackle new challenges but updates are slow as of now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On implementing CloudBees CI, we were able to resolve multiple issues with workflow and configuration management in producation environment. Thus, company's maintenance cost and time has been saved. On the other hand, we had automated most of the repetitive/daily tasks.
Among the best products for CI/CD in corporate environments.
What do you like best about the product?
The document is very thourough and helpful, the contributions for the open-source community make it not only a business decision but also a conscious decision to help the CI/CD community as a whole.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the update system is not the best, which makes it a little annoying for seeing open-source products getting updated plug-ins before the enterprise product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is the platform we use to test and deploy our whole suite of products. It makes for a seamless experience from the moment you push the code to the moment you deploy to the market.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't be afraid to reach out to support, they are friendly and understand there's a lot of documentation and sometimes you just need a nudge in the right direction.
