Good way to save your Office 365
What do you like best about the product?
It backups up ALL of the items with Office 365 - Email you would expect, but also notes, calendars, sharepoint and one drive items. Plus, you can control how long they are saved.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you have MFA turned on in O365, it's a bit tricky to setup the login for the backup. There is documentation, but it is a bit hard to find. Other than that there really isn't anything I've found to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The first time I needed this was when a user deleted notes they had in Outlook. O365 doesn't back these up and they don't go into the recycle bin. WIth Veeam, I was able to restore his notes. I also had the case where a person had gone through their email deleting unnecessary items, then at the end of the day accidentally deleted all of their email for the day. They could have restored all of their deleted items from the day but then would have had to go through the email again to remove the unneeded items. Because backup had completed, we were able to restore only the items that they meant to keep in their inbox.

Solid Self-hosted backup solution
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it's self-hosted. It gives me control over the backups. I also like the easy integration with Azure. It makes it easy to get going. Also, recovering files is simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had problems with entire repositories becoming irrecoverable. Veeam support was helpful, but ultimately unable to recover them. I also have no idea why I can't just buy licenses from Veeam. Instead, I need to go through a third party.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MS365's file recovery is about the worst I could imagine. So, it's great for recovering files and folders after deletion. And it's great for protecting against ransomware.
Great product

external hard drives are easy to swap out and apply to a job. very little hiccups and full reporting on errors, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
no public folder backup available anymore

fast backup times of mailboxes with added ability to create psts.

it's really user-friendly and easy to set up a backup for Microsoft 365 tenant on-premise or in the cloud
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no way to buy a license directly from Veeam instead to buy a license from third parties.

What do you like best about the product?
The backup was pretty simple to setup and configure. I was up and backing up within 30 minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is having to create a storage space, and then attaching it to the server that Veeam is running on in order to back it up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 is solving the ability to backup 365 mailboxes. I tested other vendor backup, and ultimately went with Veeam for its ease of use.

Great product! Backs up e-mail and Sharepoint/Onedrive folders in 365 on a nightly basis!

The ability to schedule backup jobs, the e-mail notifications of job success or failures, the ability to export backed-up email to PST

Not a dislike, but it does take a while to get everything set up with your 365 tenants as far as setting the permissions in Azure Active Directory and opening up an API etc, Veeam does have a good support document on this and once you have done it once it's not that bad😊
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of my clients requires daily e-mail backups for compliance regulations, if you do that kind of work this is a fantastic tool with very reasonable pricing, also we have had issues with accidental deletion of OneDrive folders and you can quickly go in there and grab the data from the night before😊
Great set-and-forget backup solution for Office365
What do you like best about the product?
Once the software has been configured there is very little day-to-day management. We were able to streamline our offboarding process for data retention by leveraging Veeam instead of relying on exports from Office365.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like other Veeam products, the UI isn't the most intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data retention, data backup, and data restoration. None of these are included as native offerings by Microsoft and 3rd party solutions are required to accomplish and keep the business in compliance.

What do you like best about the product?
- Mainly it is useful for storing the data safely and moreover, we can get access to data offline too. Even from malicious data, we can protect the information using veeam backup. The process of backup is reliable and effective. The pricing is good.

The main thing i dislike is the lack of visualization. we need to track the backup process workflows.
