Most reliable backup solution for Microsoft office 365
What do you like best about the product?
The most beneficial aspect of the app is that it:
- Is the best option to backup our shared & user mailboxes, SharePoint data & Onedrive data
- it does not have any own storage space but requires personal or external space, so it does not need to be paid for storage
- it successfully met all our needs for backup of Microsoft 365 data.

What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful aspect is that:
it provides only ten free users for its community edition
it does not have an inbuilt storage space for data backup
it would be great if the product had storage space for backups
In addition to the ten free licenses, subscriptions would be excellent.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to back a lot of data that we had offline on our system to online for security and availability.
It prevented the loss of emails or messages or data .
It has increased the productivity of our teams, and customer satisfaction has also improved.

Easy to install and use Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the easy-to-use interface and comprehensive feature set of Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365. It provides me with complete protection to back up my sensitive systems, so I can rest assured that there is no risk of data being accidentally deleted from a mailbox, SharePoint site or cloud space such as OneDrive. What's more, its ability to search using preset criteria and restore individual MSG format emails as well as entire PST files makes it remarkably easy to use, which means losing important documents is no longer an issue!
What do you dislike about the product?
The main issue with Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 is that it is dependent on both a server's copy speed and an internet upload line. If either is slow or has poor performance, it can affect how quickly backups are completed. This reliance on fast speeds may be unappealing to many potential users, as this requirement is likely to reduce the reliability and convenience of dealing with large digital assets in their cloud storage system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365, I no longer have to worry about building and managing my own backup solutions across multiple data centres. Now, with a trusted vendor like Veeam providing an integrated solution designed specifically for O365 data protection, I can always be confident that my data has the protection it deserves.

Easy way of backing up the data and very effective restoration. Meet most of the Compliance requirements

Dedupe, Not support for the public folders and bit expensive

Easy to connect with Microsoft 365 and very easy to take backups and restore the data. Easy to setup and more reliable

What do you like best about the product?
It provides you with a single tool for providing backup to documents, excel sheets, notes, SharePoint and Onedrive, and you have absolute control over how long you want to retain these documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's difficult to get a hang of the MFA setup, you need to figure that on your own as there is not much documentation plus initial setup is not a wizard based so takes time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business Folks faces issues when the documents are accidentally deleted and they need to get them restored. Secondly, there is ease of just recovering that exact document rather than the entire history of the recovery from that date.

What do you like best about the product?
Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 is easy to set up and easy to manage. It also has great marketing resources available to demonstrate value to our clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
By the time we add in cost of storage, it can be slightly more expensive than Backup as a Service competitors such as AvePoint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simple management of Microsoft 365 backups with Bring Your Own Storage. We provide this to our MSP clients as part of their standard service stack.

What do you like best about the product?
Veeam gives you not only the ability but also the flexibility to back up all your M365 data without vendor lock-in. It is storage agnostic, and simply works.
What do you dislike about the product?
I truly wish Veeam could have had its own cloud storage. Other than this, it simply works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to back up your M365 data, and the ability to restore to wherever, whenever it is needed.

What do you like best about the product?
Best resource to backup, restore/retrieve and also helps to replicate data on VM's without any hassles.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't find anything bad using it. Because it's the great S/W to backup data from On prem server, infra and cloud as well

Solid backup solution with Veeam
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity of use with the Veeam Backup solution for Microsoft 365. There are very easy integrations that allow you to link the accounts and enable a backup solution. Especially good for a small IT team
What do you dislike about the product?
There are limited configuration settings for backup RPO and RTO settings. These may be limitations of the Microsoft 365 solution but nonetheless are a difference with other standard backup products.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This ensures that there is no data loss and file loss. It comes especially handy when you are decommissioning users from Office 365. This ensures that files that they owned even after deleted can be referred back in case of emergency. Otherwise, these are traditionally lost.
Veeam is the data vault that's pretty hard to crack
What do you like best about the product?
Integrated with Microsoft 365, I can rest assured the data is safer than anywhere else. The backup is incremental, so we do not lose space or get lost on the latest version, and we can store our data anywhere we like: on-premises or in the cloud.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the free version offers ten free accounts, the paid version takes them from you. Also, a slight adjustment to the user interface might be in order. Other than that, Veeam is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam allows me to back up whatever I have on my Microsoft 365 account: from the data stored in our Sharepoint accounts to the TEAMS files. Being able to save on-premises is a significant advantage over the rest, which is coupled with a very easy way to restore the needed data in a few simple steps.
Veeam Solid Choice for 365 Backups
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of implementing and getting set up. The configuration process only took an hour or so. I wish other vendors could be this easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price was an initial turn off, but once we went through what the product did and how it met our needs, I felt comfortable with moving forward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Giving our team peace of mind that our data is secure and that we are not entirely reliant on Microsoft to secure our data.
