What do you like best about the product?
The Sophos firewall is a very effective solution for gateway security, what makes Sophos Firewall unique is it's easy to use of GUI Interface and Detail reporting systems, in which you can schedule the reporting as per your convenience, feature-wise it has all necessary requirements for manageability, and we can integrate it with Sophos Central for more secured access for outside your organization
What do you dislike about the product?
Sophos has very good feature of reporting but it has very limited time of logs available on the device to save the log you have to use the external resources, It would be nice if they increase the log time limit to 1 year
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been a very effective solution so far, we are able to block the unwanted traffic and restrict users from surfing unwanted sites or downaload unwanted software on the device and also have application control which allows us to restrict the use of online apps, which actually increased the productivity of office work and reduces the chances of unwanted interruption at work due to external threats. By integrating the Active Directory into the Firewall it's easy to get reports on user activity.

Rules configuration is complex from UI as it's require to configure object from different windows

There are many zero days attack is happening and sophos firewall helping us to detect it successfully. And it's zero trust model is very benefinical for us

sophos renewal costs are very high. we can get new hardware with the license for other brands like FortiGate.
their GUI is very slow whenever we make configurations.

First thing, Security. Sophos firewall really provides greater security to my internal and external network.

for SMB customers sophos is the best firewall and with central management it becomes very much powerfull from which you can manage all the sophos products

very few features and still lacks the new security realted modules and features like machine learning on the box itself
