Easy Installation and management, Satisfactory Tech support.

Not much flexibility in terms of third-party integrations.

Policy Management, Users authentication, Its endpoints health sync technology.

Central Firewall management is a bit slow to access; logs & reports should be a bit detailed.

Firewall dashboard, Traffic shaping, voucher system for guest users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Custom users' reports should be better; they should improve reporting a part bit more.

Easy user management and policy application quickly, quick rebooting appliances saves downtime.

What do you like best about the product?
Integrated management with Sophos cloud. Ability to have single pane of glass to view endpoint protection, firewalls, and more!

There was a learning curve in adjusting to them from previous platforms.

We're utilizing web access control, traditional firewalling, layer 3 routing, VPN, and SDWan all under one umbrella

Easy to use UI with great features. SDWAN function is also good.

UI of Native VPN client software isn't great.

Sophos Firewall - Manageable and Dependable
What do you like best about the product?
After reviewing a few different firewalls Sophos had a great demo as well as an easy to use GUI. Their product had everything we were looking for and their cost was well within budget.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only item that I did not like was during the implementation phase their team is very busy so getting on their calendar can be challenging. But they are very knowlegeable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos is providing protection, as well as web filtering. It has beeen very reliable and easy to setup.

Great central management, attractive-looking, very secure.
What do you dislike about the product?
A bit expensive, very restrictive out-of-box security that needs to be configured if you want to do business once it's set up.

Facilitates our site-to-site connectivity which enables us to do business. Network security, intrusion prevention etc.

Sophos should have more power with the local partner to speed up the implementation.

Cloud access and OTP function solve the access . The predefined categories of secured access is much petter than others.

Protecting the internal networks from various threats using advanced threat control measures
A simple but effective firewall appliance
What do you like best about the product?
The Sophos XG firewall appliance running UTM v9 software is an affordable way to achieve a very good level of perimeter security. The XG-210 model we use is adequate for SMEs, smaller sites and branch offices and does the job well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Despite being easy to use, the web console can be a bit tedious to use. Moreover, it can be necessary to manually force-check for updates from time to time, and the updates almost always require a reboot, which is a problem for always-on 24/7 services. It is therefore recommended to run two devices in failover mode or in high-availability mode.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With two redundant and synchronised Sophos UTM firewalls, we're able to efficiently protect the perimeter of our hosting sites and if one of the appliances were to fail, the other one would take over and continue to protect our servers.
