affordable solution with high standards
What do you like best about the product?
The firewall is secure and straightforward. If you have any questions, the customer support helps directly and solution-oriented. In my operation, the firewall is used daily. The integration of the firewall was super easy into our daily use and includes many features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The start for me with little prior knowledge was a bit bumpy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Failed VPN connections (e.g., IPSec or SSL-VPN not working)
Sophos Firewalls: Good Value and Great for SMB's
What do you like best about the product?
It is a very cost effective solution. It packs a lot of value with features. The obn-boarding is very smooth and good for organizations that do not have a lot of IT expertise in-house available. Good for both Medium sized and small business alike.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sophos Admin Consoles are klunky and a little disjointed. Their workflows are not like anything else on the market, so it takes time to get used to it. It is designed by Engineers for Engineers. You spend a lot of time jumping around to completely different areas in the console for dealing with a single issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Securing our Datacenter and Branches. We removed our MPLS network and implement SD-WAN between our branches. There is good endpoint security, web filtering and application control along with Sophos Central integration for cloud management.
BEST FIREWALL OF THE WORLD
What do you like best about the product?
We've been highly impressed with Sophos' performance and reliability. The user-friendly interface, powerful threat detection, and consistent updates make it a top choice for network security. The XGS series in particular delivers outstanding speed and protection, even in complex environments. A great investment for any organization looking to strengthen its cybersecurity posture and best support (NFR Company)

I don't have any dislike about Sophos firewall

Intuitive user interface with fast response speed. The security features are easy to find and well controlled. The rules can be set up quickly and easily.

The initial setup could be a bit tighter.

What do you dislike about the product?
Limited Reporting and Alerting, Sophos Firewall’s reporting features are not as robust as some competitors. Notifications and alerting mechanisms may also lack granularity

Granular Web and App Control, Sophisticated filtering and control over web content and applications to enforce compliance and reduce risk.

What do you like best about the product?
The operation is user-friendly, the customer support is top-notch, and all the features are good. The implementation is simple. The integration of the firewall into daily work was easy. We use the system often and appreciate everything it can do.

At the beginning, you have to get used to everything, but you quickly get into it.

Problems to be solved: threat protection, internet access control, visibility, and reporting.

What do you like best about the product?
My overall experience with the Sophos Firewall was positive. It offers robust features, including advanced threat protection, user-friendly reporting, and seamless integration with endpoint security. The user interface, which is somewhat complex at first, becomes intuitive with regular use. Features like synchronized security, web filtering, and VPN management are very effective for enterprise environments. The support documentation and community forums are also helpful for troubleshooting and learning. Occasional firmware updates require careful planning to avoid disruptions, but overall, the product is reliable and does a good job of securing network infrastructure. It is a strong solution for both small and large businesses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although I do not reject the Sophos Firewall, some users might find the interface somewhat complex for beginners, and occasional firmware updates can disrupt services if not properly planned. However, with the right configuration and understanding, it remains a powerful and reliable security solution for most organizational needs.

Beautiful interface and simple and efficient
What do you like best about the product?
The FortiGate firewall offers a fast, secure, and user-friendly security platform. It is easy to migrate and update, very intuitive, and simple to master.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes FortiGate can be slow and have some errors that are quite annoying.
However, it is good that patches are released quickly to fix these.

The firewall is running stably, we have no problems.
Sophos XGS + Endpoint Protection works very well, we love these products

sometimes HA Pro will be faulty when we upgrading firmware, need to reset and rebuild again.

What do you like best about the product?
The integration with Sophos Central is clean and makes remote management really straightforward. The UI is intuitive for most day-to-day tasks, and the security features (like web filtering, IPS, and application control) are solid out of the box. I also like how it ties in with other Sophos products—it’s clear the ecosystem was designed to work well together.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like for Sophos Central to be able to connect to the firewalls more reliably. I find myself never really using Central and just interfacing with the firewall directly as it's more responsive. Certain rules and NAT translation rules are a little hard to keep track of when linking to rules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RED tunnels and site to site VPN quite effective.
