Complete hub for version managing, deployment and secure access
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is intuitive and fast, merge requests are very easy to analyze and make corrections with a threaded-like conversation about selected chunks of code, also very good for branch and commits visualization. CI/CD and user permissions are key features to managing projects. Squash branches and comments.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of mobile applications with limited functions to watch statistics, manage deployments etc. to complement or help from there. Also, the search bar doesn't work perfectly, you can go some places only by clicking
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Joined efforts with team collaborations and well documented. Find and fix errors quickly and safely, also for reviewing others' work. Develop in different environments with a combined repo of web and API that deploys automatically.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
DO use Gitlab for both personal and organizational projects. It's intuitive and easy to use, communicate and fix bugs and errors.
