What do you like best about the product?
I like it because it's easy to set up and offers definite steps to promote integration with video capture, plus it has a great set of predefined components to improve work with the code.

The wide platform with a variety of pre-defined components and connectors for data transmission. It is easy to analyze the steps to promote integration, without any problems when sending data from a variety of sources within SAP. What do you like best about the product?
I am very happy to integrate big data. Although I did not use the Talend Enterprise for Big Data, I look forward to use. A huge amount of data can be cleaned and formatted in seconds. I have a lot of problems with my reporting tool if not in the proper format. Talend helps to solve these challenges and turn them into the appropriate format for a few minutes. Data profiling functions are simple and effective and offer high added value.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a branch of Eclipse and thus it benefits of all the advantages of the java world. The fact that all my teammates can develop locally (with project versioning) and deploy the ETL flow as independent component make teamwork so easy! And debugging in the code view helps to find the source of issues very fast, in fact, faster than any other ETL.

Its support service is very general and does not dig in our use cases. And you need a technical team that has at least some notion of java to understand the data types and functions and overall the philosophy of Talend
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
After migrating from ODI, then SSIS, Talend revealed to be best of those solutions. Talend OSDI has a user-friendly interface, is easy to apprehend, has a lot of out-of-the-box connectors and is very easy to deploy as standalone. No server version of the software needed!
