Datadog
What do you like best about the product?
Everything about Datadog was great and useful
What do you dislike about the product?
Datadog only requires you to integrate proudcts with their own services.

Performance of the services for incidents management
Amazing Product... for power users
What do you like best about the product?
I think Datadog is a must if you want to make sure that your product is performant and reliable. The fact that we can find and fix bugs before our users ever interact with our users is such a crazy advantage. The amount of helpful data that datadog provides with little to no setup is amazing. The team has built a great product and I am looking forward to upcoming features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one disadvantage that Datadog has is that is very much built for power users. Terms like APM and RUM are so niche and difficult for new users to understand that datadog themselves had to build a whole learning/certification system in order to get people up and running in their system.
If Datadog wants to target users that are not engineers or data scientists - I believe that they will have to start rethinking their product from a UX/UI point of view.
If Datadog wants to target users that are not engineers or data scientists - I believe that they will have to start rethinking their product from a UX/UI point of view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us better understand how our separate systems work together and how they can be improved to help our users.

Datadog is an essential tool for any tech team
What do you like best about the product?
Datadog's products integrate seamlessly both with each other and with our other vendors giving us a centralized view of all of the metrics we need to monitor and improve our software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only downside is cost. Datadog is the industry leader and they know it! Custom metrics pricing should be revisted as it can escalate very quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides a central place for our observability data across operations, security, and cloud costs.
Looking inside your data.
What do you like best about the product?
I like its enormous portfolio of integration and services. It's really easy to use and we integrate it in both our mobile and web-based applications. We mainly use it daily to track metrics and even reports from customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at the moment. For my business needs all the offered capabilities are currently exported and available to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a single tool to see every aspect of the product. Starting from seeing the logs to investigating metrics, bottlnecks and analyizing traces.
Improve your developer experience
What do you like best about the product?
So many integrations all in one place, Datadog allows you to see everything and anywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is a bit hard to take, since you have to convice those with pursestrings that it is about value and not cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides confidence that I'm seeing the full picture.
Deep Observability
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the deep database monitoring features that Datadog provides for our cloud-based SQL Server databases. I am able to determine blocking queries and query anomalies.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of learning curve and could get cluttered without using an IaaC product like Terraform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Database observability. What queries are blocking and where are problems stemming from.
Loved by all engineers in our org
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Datadog is its ease of use and how well its individual product capabilities are integrated with each other. Datadog is used every day by almost everyone on our engineering team and is often mentioned as one of the favorite tools we have available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our developers love using Datadog and adopting all of its features. This requires a good cost governance strategy to make sure costs don't spiral out of control.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a provider of a critical SaaS solution, we need to achieve very high levels of reliability. With our large infrastructure footprint, Datadog helps us aggregate all observability data in one place and use it to prevent and troubleshoot issues.
Very sleek product

Overall such a wonderful product! I love the interface. The interface is very easy to use for the beginner level but I wish you could customize the colors of the product.
