Has reduced manual work and shortened project timelines through faster deployment and intuitive workflows

  • October 31, 2025
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Saviynt is deploying IGA solutions to our customers. For deploying IT solutions to our customers using Saviynt, one of our recent projects was to develop an IGA solution for a university, customizing it based on their needs and adding extra apps such as an Amazon connector or integrating other apps, and deploying it for them before their semester starts. It was an easy solution for them compared to their previous methods.

How has it helped my organization?

Saviynt has positively impacted my organization by significantly reducing the time for a project where we previously used a spreadsheet for manual work to keep the data. We implemented a Saviynt solution and helped reduce that time from around two weeks to two to three days or even less. The joiner-leaver lifecycle time has decreased to a couple of days, benefiting them significantly. Human errors were reduced significantly because manual work was eliminated, improving efficiency in many aspects, and manual work poses a security risk. Users have a much easier experience, being able to track their requests and workflows much more easily compared to their previous methods. The time saved is what they mentioned as the most significant benefit, along with reducing errors, which we accomplished together.

What is most valuable?

Saviynt provides a very intuitive and easily understandable UI experience, and being a new user in the cybersecurity field, specifically the IGA field, it is a one-step solution for multiple aspects such as IGA, PAM, and other solutions. I have used it for IGA, and it is very user-friendly for new users and customers, which is why they love using it. It is very easy to customize compared to some other IGA solutions that I have looked into, and a lot of documents and forums are available, which is very helpful when I run into problems. Saviynt has unique qualities, including its user-friendly interface and the availability of documentation and forums where I can post questions, with quick responses compared to some other products, where I typically get answers within a week or at most a month. However, there is not much information available on Google or YouTube related to Saviynt, making it challenging when looking for specific guidance.

The best feature Saviynt offers is its UI, which I really appreciate because it is very easy to understand and use for customers as well as new users. For a developer, it is very simple, and apart from the UI, the customization it provides with workflows, endpoints, and security systems are very easy to customize. The main feature of Saviynt compared to its competitors is the user and account differentiation, which I believe no other product offers. The specific security systems, endpoints, and the ease of customization do not take long to figure out.

What needs improvement?

One of the challenges regarding Saviynt is the lack of material available on the web, as searching on Google or YouTube often yields little information. Advertising Saviynt is necessary because I was not aware of it a couple of months ago, and it is a very helpful product for many organizations. In India, IGA solutions are not widely recognized, and Saviynt can utilize this point by promoting itself in the cybersecurity field. A significant challenge is the lack of people discussing Saviynt in the open market, as the forums provide slower responses compared to platforms like Reddit. Advancements related to AI would be very helpful. Saviynt should provide pricing for their university certifications, which is currently not publicly available. Information about enrolling requires an ID that is not easily obtained, as it can only be acquired through an organization.

Some small wishlist features are related to APIs. As I work on projects, I find certain features to be much needed, but at a glance, they may not seem necessary. As I continue working with Saviynt, these small API-related features become apparent and would greatly enhance the experience.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Saviynt on a regular basis for around three and a half to four months.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Saviynt is very stable in my experience. They have different versions in various countries tailored to their needs, which I find commendable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Regarding scalability, I find it to be quite effective for organizations using it, and that should not pose a problem for anyone considering Saviynt as a solution.

How are customer service and support?

Customer support is quite good, though it can take about a week to respond to a request, but that is still pretty decent compared to some other products I have used.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I have not used any other solution before Saviynt and have not switched, as my first solution was Saviynt itself. Although I have looked at other solutions superficially, Saviynt seemed much better since it is a company that started around 10 to 11 years ago, scaling it up for customer focus rather than developer focus.

What other advice do I have?

Saviynt is typically deployed on AWS since the product is already deployed by the company itself, but I do not know the specifics, as I have not looked into this aspect in depth.

Saviynt University teaches about IGA, PAM, and other solutions they offer. If I want to learn more about Saviynt and its solutions, I can enroll in the university and learn from there. According to recent information, Gemini has been fed information on Saviynt, and I hope soon Saviynt documentation will be available through chatbot, which will be helpful, and I believe that is something no other product company in the IGA field has done yet.

Most details regarding Saviynt are easily accessible in the documentation, so as a newcomer, I feel the necessary information to understand Saviynt is readily available. Although we use Saviynt and customize it for our customers, we have not directly deployed it within our organization.

One of my colleagues mentioned that they found the UI a bit difficult to understand, which could be due to the absence of a proper walkthrough by someone experienced with Saviynt. They indicated that while it was easy on the go, the request and other aspects became confusing, but after our discussion, they felt a better understanding had been achieved.

My advice to others looking into using Saviynt is to definitely go through the documentation Saviynt provides. Initially, I did not know about it, but I believe that having this knowledge early on would have helped me significantly in my initial days. The documentation would be very helpful for anyone new to Saviynt or switching from another solution. I would rate Saviynt an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10. The reason behind giving it an 8 is primarily due to the positive user experience I have had, though there are some flaws to address.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

Hybrid Cloud

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Has delivered strong identity automation while support response could be faster

  • September 17, 2025
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

I work with Saviynt in various industries, including banking, financial, healthcare, pharma, and education.

What is most valuable?

Some of the best features of Saviynt are that it is a complete IGA package and, compared to others, it is one of the leading solutions for identity governance solution, as seen in Gartner. A majority of the companies are utilizing Saviynt and SailPoint.

Their analytics-driven approach has helped with identifying potential risks because they have comprehensive capabilities. With this analytics-driven approach, they have features that handle human and non-human identity threats, although I'm not certain how they implement it. With the new releases, they have built-in AI automation, and they provide excellent analytics reports through AI.

What needs improvement?

Compared to other vendors, Saviynt's Privileged Access Management feature is not complete. They have an inbuilt PAM solution, but they are not capable of handling all PAM solutions because they have very limited features. They have different vendors for PAM solutions, such as Delinea and CyberArk, which have dedicated solutions for PAM. Compared to those vendors, Saviynt is only at 50% capability. IGA is their strong suit, but PAM capabilities are very limited.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have spent considerable time with Saviynt as we are partnering with them for more than five years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The stability of the product is satisfactory because there is no downtime. It handles operations through different disaster recovery phases in the backend. They operate the service model across different time zones, and there is good stability without downtime.

How are customer service and support?

Their support deserves a rating of seven out of ten. They respond consistently, but they are somewhat lacking in troubleshooting due to a shortage of support staff.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup for Saviynt is instantaneous. If you request the vendor, they can provide access, as it is a license-based purchase.

What about the implementation team?

For deployment, there is no need for development with Saviynt. It is a predefined, built-in package, and we can utilize everything with the out-of-the-box connector. Once we get the product, we can handle the implementation from our side.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Pricing for Saviynt, compared to SailPoint, is more competitive.

Saviynt is less expensive than SailPoint. Saviynt is superior because it is user-friendly, and their fundamental phenomena are no-code, low-code, which means no customization is needed for the implementation part. However, SailPoint needs extensive customization in terms of implementation. Price-wise, SailPoint is costlier, but organizations choose either solution based on their requirements. All finance and banking sectors prefer SailPoint because they have both on-premises and cloud solutions. While Saviynt also offers cloud and on-premises options, SailPoint has a superior on-premises solution called IIQ, which is why finance and banking industries prefer SailPoint.

What other advice do I have?

With either SailPoint or Saviynt, I utilize this product, as do some of my clients, with AWS as a main cloud provider. We are not using AWS; we were using only Saviynt. We never used AWS because we don't have any customers for AWS.

Saviynt likely uses an AWS server for their database, though I'm not certain how they utilize AWS services.

The cloud-native capabilities of Saviynt contribute to enhanced cloud security as they are operating a cloud-based solution. Saviynt's capabilities for automating user provisioning and access are excellent, and their IGA functionality is perfect.

The specific details about their IGA capability show excellence in terms of automated onboarding, off-boarding process, and JML processes, making it a strong solution in this market.

I rate Saviynt 8 out of 10.

Offers responsive support and moderate pricing for streamlined identity management

  • June 05, 2025
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

How has it helped my organization?

Based on my experience working with Saviynt, they deserve a rating of nine because they are very responsive to support. More than resolving issues, their responsiveness to concerns is exceptional.

What is most valuable?

Partnership and expanding the identity scope are valuable features, particularly in touching aspects of authentication. When presenting to the board or leadership who have experience with Unix, Linux, OS, and Windows, discussing multiple products for identity solutions can be challenging. Currently, one needs to discuss Open Text for identity account management, Saviynt for identity governance, another solution for single sign-on authentication, and DigiCert for certifying authority. The portfolio could be expanded to provide a comprehensive solution where three actions on identity and access management can be handled by SailPoint, Saviynt, or Okta.

The pricing of Saviynt is moderate compared to other players such as Open Text or Oracle, which had huge volumes. Saviynt's operational costs and other aspects have been clarified. Compared to Oracle's significant costs, Saviynt's products are quite convenient. Saviynt could expand into authentication, the single sign-on market, and multi-factor authentication. The authentication market presents significant opportunities where they could bring additional controls under their umbrella.

What needs improvement?

One area for improvement is Saviynt's training platform. They could enhance their training arrangements for partners and build a stronger partnership environment. When discussing Azure or AWS-related products, I have observed many local partners entering the market successfully. Saviynt needs to increase their partnerships with local players to penetrate the market more effectively. They can focus on product development and announcements while partners could manage sales and provide services and support.

A potential weakness in Saviynt stems from my experience as a customer. While one product performed excellently, another was quite complex with code dating back 15 years. They might benefit from having an even stronger technical team to understand historical context. Although they already have industry veterans with 20 years of experience, having additional identity veterans or strong identity presence would provide a competitive advantage.

What other advice do I have?

It depends on the type of solution product and the role and responsibility. In my previous role in operations services delivery, I could influence product decisions within my responsibility. In my current security role, I focus on existing products and provide updates. During peer review forums and business requirements discussions, I suggest Saviynt solutions when appropriate, noting their strong team development. For PCI-related requirements, I recommend Okta, as they have delivered numerous solutions for JP Morgan and other banking clients. For energy-based discussions, I often recommend Saviynt, particularly for shared access management or account access management.

SailPoint remains a strong recommendation, as the identity market needs more robust partnerships. While various technology platforms in servers, networking, and other areas have established partner networks, the identity field lacks such comprehensive partnership structures. This issue needs to be addressed.

Overall rating: eight out of ten.

Enables swift deployment and operational management in large projects

  • March 13, 2025
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

We are an added value distributor. We deliver vendor models on the ground. We have a specialized team handling sales, technical, pre-sales, deployment, and project management. We focus on large government projects with a high number of users. We have recently signed up with Saviynt and are starting with small to mid-sized projects.

What is most valuable?

The most valuable aspect of Saviynt is its market acceptance. We recently closed a project quickly, which is a good sign. Saviynt is easy to deploy, manage, and maintain. These aspects make it suitable for our operations, especially in terms of operational management, maintenance, and cost-effectiveness, which are crucial for our customers in Saudi Arabia.

What needs improvement?

We are in the deployment stage, so it's too early to determine specific improvement areas. However, bringing more people on the ground could enhance Saviynt's market presence. While Saviynt has potential, testing in large environments is essential to assure its capabilities. There may be areas for potential improvements, such as enhancing AI features and integrating with third-party vendors, but this needs to be assessed post-deployment.

For how long have I used the solution?

We have been using Saviynt for approximately three months.

What was my experience with deployment of the solution?

The deployment process for Saviynt is straightforward, simple to execute, and does not pose any major challenges.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Saviynt is still under deployment and has not yet been launched. Therefore, its stability is undetermined at this stage, and an evaluation will be possible after two months.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Saviynt is very easy to deploy and scale. I can currently rate its scalability at eight, with room to potentially reach a ten.

How are customer service and support?

Saviynt's technical support is effective, as they have a presence in Saudi Arabia with dedicated sales and technical personnel. I rate their technical support at eight out of ten as they are on the right track by establishing themselves in the market.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup of Saviynt is easy and straightforward.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

Saviynt is very affordable compared to its competitors. It is cloud-based, making it significantly cheaper than on-premises solutions. This cost-effectiveness aligns well with the Saudi market, where there is a growing preference for cloud solutions.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

We are also working with other solutions like SailPoint, Swivel, and CyberArk, which are part of our technology offerings.

What other advice do I have?

We need to test Saviynt on larger environments to fully evaluate it. Once tested, we can provide a more comprehensive assessment. It is recommended to enhance features like AI integrations after deployment. I would recommend this solution because it is easy to deploy, manage, and maintain. I rate the overall solution a nine out of ten.
