What do you like best about the product?
Building bubbles in the creating cubes is one of the most convenient way to query the data I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboard building mechanism isn't very flexiable; plenty of visualizations could be implement but not in SISENSE.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company uses SISENSE for monthly reporting purpose and I use SISENSE to present insights to the company board.
Very powerfull tool to analyze your data

That is very powerfull to create different panels using different data sources and having a common way to query the data.

Look and feel can be improved to be more attractive

Quick and Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Sisense is a quick way to put together data in a clean and consise way.
What do you dislike about the product?
They are working on adding more and more features but some features are behind a paywall.

I like the visual way data models are presented, and how easy it is to edit source queries etc while in there.
Sisense is supportive, we find it easy to schedule calls etc with them if we have issues.
It is very flexible with the look and feel via javascript, the Pivot 2.0 API, and JAQL.
Live models have been useful for us, especially the variables you can have in the connectors.
An example of the flexibility with Javascript - financial formatting of a Pivot table (linux). I used javascript to make the pivot table show: red or green for variances, brackets around negative numbers, renaming column headers so they include the name of the selected month (in a dashboard filter). I also used columns for ordering, and hid them.

What do you dislike about the product?
Thus far, in the last 5 installations/upgrades of sisense on client sites, we have had issues preventing said installation/upgrade. We've had to reach out to Sisense for help to resolve these on 3 instances, and these issues were resolved.
Javascript is a MUST for any moderate to serious customization of dashboards/widgets. One can either use Javascript or buy add-ons on the app store (which we aren't inclined to do because of cost, and because we're trying to do things that the add-ons don't do). There's a learning investment here, especially in the the Pivot 2.0 API and Javascript.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to tie into our data warehouse and rendering more business readable charts

There have been major disruptions due to the AP team turning our account off in error due to their accounting team not knowing the true state of our payments. This has brought down our dashboards at least two times in the past year.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Initial setup can require lots of time especially if multiple data sources are required.
2. Sisense may occasionally be resource intensive that leads to slower performance, although this can largely be due to the massive data being processed and can happen to other BI solutions too.
3. Limited customization options in terms of design and layout although this isn't a showshopper.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is mainly a cost reduction initiative to migrate from an incumbent vendor.
Sisense provides an intuitive and transparent experience to design analytical insights
What do you like best about the product?
My favourite feature of Sisense is being able double click into any visual to see the underlying query that was used to build the chart/table. This provides two primary benefits: 1) The ability to validate the source of the data to ensure you're drawing conclusion based on the correct data set; and 2) The ability to easily replicate similar visuals.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations on variability in the charts you create. You cannot create as complex visuals as you can in some other data visualization tools, for example map charts and auto-bucketing for histograms/
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My aim is to provide sales leaders with analytical insights to the producitvity of their sales teams. Sisense lets me breakdown large data sets into easy to interpret insights and help sales leaders make data-driven decisions and guide headcount investment decisions to paticular regions and role types.
Great tool for Sales
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and to download reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the data doesn't refresh on it's own unless you tell it too and if you're not paying attention you could be looking at old data because you left the tab open on your computer overnight.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to paint a picture of whats happening with product usage and a lot to see who is using the free product vs what they are paying premium for so we can compare and run campaigns pushing the products they haven't purchased. One report can generate a whole campaign distribution list.
