Easy for the armchair analysts
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to build widgets that are useful for you department or specific role.
What do you dislike about the product?
SQL is sometimes required and requires a technical user to clean the data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s shows us returns data and forecasts failure modes and financial risks.

What do you like best about the product?
From an operational side of things, the way the application is architected works well with our organization's setup for the most part. It uses similar technologies to what we're already using.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer Support has been a mixed bag. Often it feels like there isn't common knowledge & understanding throughout the organization of issues, features, release timelines. Often documentation has been lacking specifics that we would find out later on support calls. Upgrading from one version to the next is tedious and usually we find ourselves discovering bugs and reporting them to Sisense, which makes me think their QA process isn't very thorough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps visualize our data in a way that provides our customers value in the form of insights and trends.
Easy to dive into and get started, great support when needed.
What do you like best about the product?
Support is great. Always respond in a timely manner and have had some great support engineers help troubleshoot our issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation seems to be mostly based around Sisense locally hosted solutions on windows/linux. We're on the cloud, would love to see some of the docs updated to reflect steps/processes relevant to cloud solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing multiple sources of data to come together to power visually appealing dashboards.
Sisense: Great for Simple Reporting but more Frustrating than any other BI Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Sisense is really great in terms of building and simple straightforward reports and dashboards. I think Sisense has also been really great with integrating with Snowflake.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some things that Sisense lacks is the ability to create more in-depth data visualizations. I think the sharing and folder aspect of Sisense is lacking as well compared to other BI platforms. The amount of Javascript needed to do more complicated dashboards and reports is a fairly big hurdle. Finally the Sisense community is really lacking compared to Power BI and Tableau.

Sisense has helped with different departments and divisions in creating their own reports.

Great customization for embedded analytics

Data manipulation layer. Flexibility to choose multiple datasources within the same Data model

PRovide valuable insights on customer data
Good tool overall, flexible data options w/embedded capabilities, terrible mapping and geo function

The support team is relatively responsive and integration with snowflake works well. Dashboard building is intuitive with advanced features under the hood

Mapping and geographic visualization is very bad compared to other tools

Generating client-facing dashboards to be embedded in our application.
Great Customer Service
What do you like best about the product?
The customer service team. I am still learning the ins and outs from a technical standpoint but the support we have with the Sisense team makes me feel like they completely have our backs, are consultative, and are committed to helping make sure that our dashboards and reporting are a success.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of. I'm still learning the technicalities and the ins and outs of it.
I definitely feel like we're not taking advantage of all the features as much as we should be so I'm hoping that will ramp up throughout the year as we increase adoption of our reporting dashboards.

Super slick and so easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The dashboard design environment is so easy to use and a very enjoyable experience compared to other tools. Being able to easily join disparate data sources was a major plus too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to occasionally buy plugins to provide functionality you may think should be native.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a ton of complex data and Sisense made it easy build the relationships.
Top Notch BI Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Logical, flexible, straight-forward, room to grow

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company has many programs and multiple projects per quarter and Sisense fits the bill for our needs... and then some.
EKS Sisense management is an interesting time
What do you like best about the product?
The system as a whole is a decent distributed system which allows you to throw as many resources at it as you want.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of internal "gotchas" that are not easily known. The biggest issue we've had is due to email reporting unable to handle our production load without help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had an in-house system before but using Sisense allows us to use our development resources elswhere.
