What do you like best about the product?
Best online tutorial portal to lean programming I've ever seen for advance user. Video quality, support are awesome. Video loading/buffering time almost 0 even with slow connection.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found maximum tutorial for advance user. But need for beginner too
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy learning any time, any where to grow my skill
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend pluralsight for all of advance programmer

Cool product, but a bit pricey.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the variety of tasks and the interface looks very cool. It is appealing, especially to teens and young adults.
What do you dislike about the product?
The big downside is you have to pay for it, which makes it less of an option for my classroom use than I'd like. You can have a free account but it is very limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a nice alternative for students who don't necessarily like the programs we use in class or who want to explore further independently.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
See what you can get with the free trial. Talk to the people who work there, they are very helpful.

Quick, efficient and easy way to learn some code!!

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's multi-leveled learning. Are you best at learning listening to a lecture? This is for you. Are you best a learning watching examples being solved? This is for you! Are you best at learning by doing? This is still for you! Every lesson builds upon the lessons before it, and it continues to challenge the thinking of the user, while providing real-world examples and practical problem-solving scenarios.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times it can get repetitive between lessons, but I think it's for a reason. It'd also be nice if it could be free forever, but it's totally worth it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Learning new skills to solve software-related problems and automate chronic tasks that otherwise take time and effort.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are frequently trials, free weekends, and you can try most modules (at least the basics) for free! So, if you're on the fence, I'd recommend it! Some of the modules recommend certain textbooks and references, and I'd suggest that they would be very helpful if you're planning on using what you learn in Code School for daily tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy and interactive interface; probably the best learning UI for beginners.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. If you're looking to gauge your interest in a certain topic or are ready to learn more about programming, this is a perfect place to start.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted marketers and other team members to understand basics of certain languages like HTML, CSS, SQL, etc.

Excellent Learning tool for Developers

What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot of courses to learn. Every course has a curriculum which is broad and extensively covered at Pluralsight. Pluralsight recently started various paths based on a programming language by which you can make a transition from amateur to professional. They currently have paths based on programming languages like Javascript, CSS, Angular and HTML. Pluralsight provides one to one mentor help where you can ask questions if you get stuck and can have a one on one mentoring session to solve your doubts. Every single video is short and helps you to focus on the particular topic without losing interest.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't disliked anything as such but one thing I will surely talk about is downloading the exercise files. You need to pay an annual subscription or monthly which is about $40 a month. I am currently paying a monthly fee of $29 which gives you access to all the videos except downloading the exercise files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to learn new technologies on my own and create hobby projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Excellent tool to learn new technologies on your own.

Great place to keep up to date with software development skills.

What do you like best about the product?
Code School has a wide variety of courses to learn coding skills, mostly web development skills. From Javascript basics, to cutting edge tech & tools like React, Angular, and many others.

The platform offered to go through these courses is awesome, with well-explained lectures followed by coding challenges that can be solved within the app. The experience is really pleasant.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like them to put some courses for free for a limited period of time, for example a weekend, so people that are not paying to use the product, could at least take advantage of these offers if they're interested.

They could also offer more variety of paid plans, they just have two choices: "free", and "paid". Maybe they could organize this in a better way, so people could pay a bit less to access less content, something like that, this is just a brief idea.

It would be great to make challenges a bit more "challenging", so course evaluations have more value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Code School to keep me up to date with the latest tech & tools to build software apps. This is essential for every software developer, and Code School makes it fun as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're passionate about software development, and would like to keep up building your skills, this is definitely the place to go.

Even if you're a beginner in software development, there are lots of courses for you, and believe me when I say it's fun to learn here.

An awesome and fun way to learn new technologies for web developers

  • May 12, 2016
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Code School is regularly updating their content so they are constantly relevant for the most part. In addition, their courses are in bite-sized chunks making them easy to digest as well as to do some and come back to them. Each course has a theme song which are often catchy and amusing too. Their course content is very high quality all the way around.
What do you dislike about the product?
While mostly relevant, they are occasionally slow to get some of their courses out there. The React one was just released in late April, 2016, for example. Their library is growing but could be larger. I suspect this will happen now that Pluralsight owns them; and given the quality of the content, it's understandable that they are not just churning it out. My only real complain is the cost; while $29/month is worth it, there's so many options/alternatives to them these days that it seems like they could bring that down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used Code School on and off for over 5 years to learn new technologies and better understand some I already know. The way they approach teaching is both fun and effective.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are in the web development industry already, or just getting started, and looking for a website to learn from, Code School provides high quality content and great teaching style. Their courses are also fun and once you get started it becomes almost addictive. It's very easy to complete most of their courses within a few hours if not quicker. I highly recommend Code School.

Great Learning Resource

  • May 09, 2016
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot of excellent tutorials and explanation videos available. I've been able to find most things I need on Pluralsight, and the video tutorials are excellent quality.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the categories are a bit outdated. For example, the Microsoft Dynamics CRM development training is for a fairly old version of Dynamics, and does not adequately reflect the current API layer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In general, we've used this to solve some of the difficultly around training for new systems and technology with programmers.

Most expansive database for digital art tutorials

What do you like best about the product?
I love the organization of the site. It is very easy to navigate. The instructors are very knowledgeable. I took many online courses and I found the course information very relevant for all.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost. I feel like it should be a little less expensive for a year membership. I would say about 10 dollars a month. There would be a lot more subscribers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I expanded my knowledge of 3D design. When I was a subscriber, I always went to this source for the info I needed.
