Great Content
What do you like best about the product?
The content on Pluralsight is outstanding and the user interface is very simple to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much I dislike about the site. It works well and I have never experienced any downtime.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are helping our IT staff to get accustomed to new technologies and also helping to refresh on things that are already known. It also gives a look a how much we value training.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do the free trial and see if you like it...you most likely will.

I like it
What do you like best about the product?
Easy access to a wide variety of topics covered in depth
What do you dislike about the product?
Pluralsight should add more hands-on content
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to learn to manage Citrix and Exchange when these project were handed off to me. I was able to get up to speed relatively quickly.
Tons of available information and training for relevant and cutting edge job skills and field topics
What do you like best about the product?
Instant availability of any skill you wish to learn from sources that are well versed in their knowledge areas but in delivering the information in a manner that is easy to grasp.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some dated information in courses from circa 2013 +/- a year or two. I worry these skills may be outdated and/or lack total coverage of all new areas of a skill.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increased knowledge to connect developer or technical expertise with the foresight and planning of management. In other words, I understand the tactical operations of our technical staff and can relate their concerns to the strategic wishes of our management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure the content is up-to-date. As we all know the pace of change in technology (my industy) is ever-changing and I find that some courses cover older versions of software, etc that cause me to fear I'm missing out on new features released in later versions.
Great Platform needing slight updating
What do you like best about the product?
Wide variety of training for IT across all platforms. Microsoft, Linux, Unix, Infrastructure and Development. Great for studying and refreshing skills that haven't been used in a while. The career development classes are interesting as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not enough current training topics on Azure and Office 365. Understandably it takes time to create content for new certifications and subjects, however it seems to take well over a year before content for newer technologies is available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training for advancing the level of my skills.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
High quality training for a great price. The options in training alone are well worth the price. The new Role IQ feature is interesting.
The courses are extremely good and easy to understand.
What do you like best about the product?
Pluralsight has a wide variety of themes, a friendly interface and gives us the option to have closed captions.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I do not find something that I do not like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Learn new technologies.
Loving Pluralsight Technical Training
What do you like best about the product?
I love the wide variety of class offerings. I love how teams can be created and channels formed. I'm starting to investigate more and learn about the skills assessments. Overall, I think it's a wonderful tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Either I'm unaware of the best way to do it, but it always seems a little overly complicated to return to a class I've only partially completed. I'm also uncertain if there's a way I can remove the classes I'd begun, but realized weren't what I was looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Every time I log into Pluralsight I learn something that can assist with either a problem at work, or more importantly training that can help my organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Continue adding updated content. In Information Technology, things change quickly and outdated content is only partially effective.
Would not be where I am without Pluralsight
What do you like best about the product?
Two things that I like best about Pluralsight are the class viewing interface and the Paths. I appreciate the logical grouping of courses together to help me learn a specific technology.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing about the Pluralsight product do I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have learned many different technologies and products leveraging Pluralsight to give me a foundational understanding and how-to experience. Topics I've learned are Photoshop, Swift, Java, Python, and many more.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There is not another online course provider that I have seen that has presented the content in a logical manner and easy to use interface.
Excellent Experience
What do you like best about the product?
the quality of video training is excellent
What do you dislike about the product?
Some trainers have a flow a little monotonous and therefore a bit boring
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Virtualisation and Windows 10
One of the best ways to quickly get up to speed with the latest development related technologies
What do you like best about the product?
How knowledgeable the presenters are. They give you insight into specific technologies that are cutting edge and show you best practices so you can immediately be productive. Many times I have went from zero knowledge on a specific subject or technology to feeling very confident with that same technology just by going through a single course.
What do you dislike about the product?
More hands on stuff would be nice, but not required. Though they have been adding more hands on stuff in recent years, so it seems they are heading in the right direction. It would also be nice if they created some very short to the point courses as well. For people who are pretty knowledgeable already but want a quick to-the-point overview of something. Sometimes a 3-6 hour isn't necessary and you just want a quick refresher. But this is also just a wish and not something completely necessary
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building software that adds business value. Pluralsight is always my go to for quickly getting up to speed on any specific technology. I have not gone without a subscription since I learned about it over 5 years ago and even, required the last company I worked for to provide it to the employees as part of my job offer. The tools that Pluralsight provides are invaluable to me as a Software Developer and I recommend Pluralsight to other developers on a regular basis.
