Helpful tool for in-depth learning

What do you like best about the product?
- real-world learning scenarios (play-by-play series)
- progress tests
- interactive coding examples
What do you dislike about the product?
- length
- outdated material found in some courses
- sometimes courses feel too much like a textbook and don't help you in real-world usage
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Learning front-end frameworks for usage at my job. It's been great for getting my feet wet on a variety of different topics including react, angular, & unit testing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't get bogged down in long courses, skip around if needed and find what interests you.

What do you like best about the product?
First off I can find up to date courses on any topic specific to web development. The different modules allow me to immediately delve into the topics I need to learn for the upcoming sprint. Also enjoy that I can finish a course and take a quiz to measure my improvement as I progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally I have issues with the videos skipping. Also there are certain authors for videos that have watched where I get lost and confused because I realize I need to move back to a lower level course.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having just graduated from college and entering my first development job I found a lot of gaps in my education. Since the development team I am working with is full stack, changing the technologies we use, and always looking to gain an edge form our competitors I need to have the ability to learn new concepts, technologies, and languages in a timely manner. Through Pluralsight I find it easier to learn and keep up in my fast paced work environment

What do you like best about the product?
IT was broken out in small portions and I could work at a pace to see how and where it would apply on the various types of production deployment projects that are going on in my team
What do you dislike about the product?
Only that there is no specific focus on using this methodology in the instrastructure services teams such as SysADmin, Network engineering and Unified Communications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Migration to Office 365 and there are courses available for every service in 365 that we actively use. Also, it has been over 10 years since I took IT desktop technologies courses. I want to go back and restart and hopefully gain a certification. This could help me with taking on a new role within the company. Today I manage ITAM, ITIL/ITSM primarily. I outsource desktop support to a managing service.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
An efficient and valuable way to keep your IT staff in different areas up to date on latest changes and growth in their skillsets.

What do you like best about the product?
I can fire up PS anywhere and get caught up on something I can download to my iPAd and listen on a plane or at the airport or even when working out it makes keeping up to date so easy and the titles are so varied its the first place I look when hearing about a new technology
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the more popular titles are getting out of date and need refresh especially the fast moving technologies (container, cloud (aws, azure))
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
upskilling people can be difficult with the wide range of things people need to know this is an easy way to keep people update and it works well for after actions of onsite in person training classes
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start with Nigel Poulton he makes learning so easy!

Its a wonderful platform to learn almost everything

What do you like best about the product?
The courses are explained in levels like beginner, intermediate and advanced. That part is very good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all the courses are present to learn. Some are need to be added. Some courses which are being used in my place are not there which is making me go to some other website to see and learn which is very hard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm learning all the basics for understanding the app and building it to the higher level. This is making to cope up with other experts in a very short time and learn and master the technology which ever we want to learn. This is having very user friendly interface so that we can use it comfortably and regularly. The skill assessment is one more thing through which we can see where we stand in the current tech and where we are lagging and where we are good so that we can see the gaps and then it will show the areas which we need to develop to improve ourselves and provide others to take and observe us to know our level of understanding in that skill.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use this website to learn about any computer course in depth even from scratch . Even if you don't have any knowledge they will tell you the prerequisites for the course you want to learn and give the guidance needed with that other course. So you can master from fundamentals.

Pluralsight is an effective skill-building platform

What do you like best about the product?
The overall content quality is high, I definitely benefit from using the product and also apply skills learned to solve current business problems. The sound quality has always good, and the presentation of the material is easy to read. The look and feel of the website is great, and I never have had any technical issues in the over two years that I have been using the site. Overall I have been pleased with the product and consider it the gold standard in the technology training industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the modules can go on too long, and may be better if they are segmented further, depending upon the complexity of the content. Perhaps more real-world discussion of the topics, and how they have been (or could potentially be) deployed in real work conditions could be useful too. Also, perhaps adding in an interactive group sharing feature, where multiple valid users (such as an Agile Scrum team) could collaborate when it makes sense to learn the material together, such as when a team is working together on a business initiative.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly building a Network Automation process/platform using Ansible and Python... also have benefited from Docker and Kubernetes training as well as we work to build out our CI/CD environment using these new technologies.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely recommend using Pluralsight for any individual or companies training and skill development needs. I have used quite a few different training platforms / resources in the past and the Pluralsight product is the best I have ever used.

Extensive Library of Courses

What do you like best about the product?
I like the course layout and paths already defined with ability to create custom paths and share with other colleagues easily. There is so much offered in a very wide area from sales to technical and specialized course options that are designed to help the student obtain the related CERT. What's even better is the ability to download the app on mobile phone and keep the studying going on the go.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much that I don't like about Pluralsight as it offers so much already. I think it would be to offer a more advanced search option as there are so many courses available that it can get a little overwhelming when trying to review all the various options available and trying to figure out which is best for your specific needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This was offered to me through my employer and I am so grateful to have access to such a great learning tool. The biggest benefit I see is just the wide variety of offerings Pluralsight has.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
With the growing popularity of Python and Mobile automation, I would like to see more courses in this area.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the different roles and the paths associated with them. The IQ tests are fun and help guide me to areas I need to work on.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems as though the courses aren't updated once they are published.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pluralsight has helped me learn developer skills that I was lacking to solve specific issues at my company.

Helps me better than most books

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can organize what you are learning into bookmarks and channels and come back to them at any time. I also like that I have almost always found a relevant video to something I am trying to learn or improve.
What do you dislike about the product?
I just wish there was a better way to organize paths.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So far I have used it for things I should have known but didn't: mainly dependency injection and unit testing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start with the path you're most interested in and go from there.

The appropriateness of the material. Work is relevant.
What do you dislike about the product?
The foreign accent of the instructor makes understanding instruction a challenge

Use more instructors without strong foreign accents.
