Re-Skilling employees for IT Trends
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of access, the cost of Pluralsight (the cost of one license for the number of courses that are accessible to each user), and the skill path channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the reporting is cumbersome. While you do have access to data, trying to drill down to the specifics for one employee or a group of employees takes a lot of manual data manipulation. You can download to Excel, but if some of the reporting up front was customizable, that would be better. Especially when you're trying to run a report for senior leaders quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have the challenge of getting users skilled in specific IT disciplines, such as Cloud, Cyber Security, and Azure. We recently acquired licenses for employees to augment training, but later focused on specific training areas. The benefits have been moving employees from beginner learners to Intermediate or Advanced users.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider acquiring licenses for all of your staff first. You will see the cost benefit immediately. In addition, think about what IT skills you have gaps and want to focus. Pluralsight can be used to address those skill gaps, as well as prepare individuals to take certifications. You can also create learning channels and develop skill channels for your staff.

What do you like best about the product?
So many topics. Relevant topics. technical skills, professional skills, soft skills, are more than what we utilize in a year. the workforce training needs are so diverse, understanding how to develop needs is very easy. The Sales Team manager was great.

Best channel for learning new technologies
What do you like best about the product?
New technologies get covered and have content quickly. There is so much content that you get your choice of the type of instructor you like.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to pay for it. Wouldn't it be nice if everything is free.. I know that we live in a free economy but come on just make it free to everyone. I need to meet my word count in order to get this review to post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping the work force educated. It is nice to have a location where everyone can learn what they need to. We have realized the benefit that engineers are happier because they are expanding there skill set.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great tool and really every company should offer it to their staff. Nothing keeps a workforce excited about there job than learning.
