I like their UI and the platform overall is really easy to use. For instance, you can quickly figure out how to set up dashboards and alerts etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really but I wish to see more data visualization alternatives, different type of charts etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to analyze logs. For instance, to see the volume and different attributions of calls. I like that it's flexible in terms of the amount and the combination of attributions you can select.

Easly engaging your whole team to the system logs
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of usage, the great visualizations and dashboard, the new features the logz.io guys release, and the great speed and attitude of the support team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Rolling out more features on top of Kibana. The new features roll out is not fast enough..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Engaging all the teams around the logs and the benefits clear logging can give.
Centralize all the logs in one place
Quick alerts based on logs
Non stop potential for integrating other components i use (Jenkins, AWS)

Unpolished event logger, easy to use. Easy to setup alerts.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to get started, there are many code samples for how to ship logs to Logz.io. They provide a free functional service!
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel it's a bit unpolished. The documentation is not up to date with the looks of the site. The tool requires some guess-work. Difficult to log meta data/context variables (may be because the Logz.io nlog library I used). The nlog library does not support netcore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Store logs and automatic monitoring of web apps. It's great to be able to easily access and search logs for debugging purposes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are many alternatives. If you are working with .net read about Serilog.
It's an excellent product, and always improving
What do you like best about the product?
Logz.io fills a need that we had. Its solution is less proprietary than some others, so there's a large OSS ecosystem we can learn from and take advantage of. But mostly, we didn't want to host and ELK/Elastic cluster on our own.
The support is also great.
The support is also great.
What do you dislike about the product?
You do get less control than if you're hosting ELK yourself, so there are some customizations that are unavailable to us. But it's worth the trade off for us. Also, there is a bit of a learning curve, though it's as easy to use as any of the competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We get some visibility into how our system is behaving in production, in a central location.
All your logs in one place
What do you like best about the product?
All of our company logs are flowing to a single place allowing easy access, analysis and visualization.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI might update a bit slow in times. Not all filters are show when there is a lot of data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it in many use cases. Most are technical.
Quick to get up and running, great UI and flexibility for APM and Logs Analysis
What do you like best about the product?
Cognitive And Application Insights along with the ability to investigate the data manually. Very easy to setup custom alerts for different customers based on a high degree of flexibility in alert trigger definition. Great to have all this without having to deal with the infrastructure issues associated with managing an ELK stack. Like the ability to share a read-only dashboard with a customer to provide them insight as to issues in their environment ...
The Logz.io team has been very helpful getting us up to speed, and willing to work with us even though we were in timezone requiring evening discussions.

What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing jumps up very quickly. Making sub-accounts only part of enterprise subscription seems a bit much - pricing should be based just on volume.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great combined visibility into live operation of dozens of microservices with alerting has permitted us to head off issues prior to them becoming business problems, and improve our product based on real world operation. Significantly reduced the
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Information available is only as good as the logs you provide. Make sure to get your resolution right, and make sure you know your data. Have all relevant members of your team putting out logs that will be useful to them, and then reviewing within Logz.io.
Great for finding and alerting
What do you like best about the product?
We have a dashboard set up to log critical exceptions and write them to Slack. It's helped us catch a lot of problems right away and has been invaluable for troubleshooting deployments and finding problems on production before clients do.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the interface a little hard to use. Logz.io seems like it has a lot of powerful functionality that I haven't used because I can't figure out what tools are there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Logz.io to make all our logs searchable and to notify us in case of failures.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Set up dashboards, it will make it so much easier to find the logs of interest!
