Excellent for complex data queries
What do you like best about the product?
Highly compliant with SQL standards, able to handle large complex queries. Supported by the majority of platforms such as Amazon Redshift and DynamoDB. Great for application data processing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slow process speed, not a good fit for real-time data processing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Largely complex data queries, ROR used PostgreSQL as a backend database.

The easy to install and use database app for local storage or web applications

I wish we could install postgres integrated in Visual Studio or Pycharm so it would be easy to check and not go back and forth.

Postgres has excellent set a features that are unique to it. It is fast and functional and makes writing queries easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the Postgres specific syntax can be hard to grasp at first. It is very different from MySQL.

We use it in many different areas of our organization and personally on freelance projects. It is just fast and helps me get work done.

few tools can be integrated with MySQL but not with PostgreSQL.
