What do you like best about the product?
The aspect of Dynatrace that I like the most is the monitoring abilities of the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The aspect of Dynatrace that could be most improved is implementing custom metrics. There is no way to limit the metrics instrumented. It just instruments them all. Need a way to limit this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving our RCA needs when it comes to finding out what the actual issue was of an incident. We are able to monitor and view transactions of applications as they are processed. This is extremely helpful when diagnosing issues that occur with an app. All monitoring being in one place is a realized benefit.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My advice to others looking to implement DT would be to fully build out strings early as it will make life so much easier down the road.

What do you like best about the product?
Installation is very easy compared to their older AppMon product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Report support
Downtime to disable monitoring/alerts during maintenance windows
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Any application hiccups or emergency issues - we can determine root cause that reduce RTTM by >75%

What do you like best about the product?
Adding the OneAgent provided great initial value with very little effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is bulky and creates lots of empty browser/window space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There is a lack of testing before deploy. Dynatrace has provided our Application Development teams with valuable feedback to help improve quality.

What do you like best about the product?
Instrumentation of the agents are quite easy. Auto-discovery of devices and components works almost flawlessly. Real User session tracking provides deep and valuable insights both from a problem diagnostics perspective as well as a customer experience perspective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Moves quickly, you need to keep current with your instances if you want to make the most of the platform. It's a good thing, but it means you can't just install and forget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Application performance diagnostics and user experience tracking. Have discovered and helped diagnose very difficult problems to discover otherwise.

What do you like best about the product?
Ther product finds things that have been dormat or undiscovered in our envirnment for year. Finding mainframe programming hacks that have existed for 20 years was an eye opener
What do you dislike about the product?
Its complicated and on somethings not that flexible. There are cases where it's like to see more depth or flexability but it is not available
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Resiliancy - keeping the evironment operating at peak efficiency and driving up user and client expectations

What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace does a great job of making the install process really painless, yet still provides a large amount of useful metrics to provide visibility into application performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see more supported plugins for different databases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Several of our applications do not provide enough verbosity in their logs, and Dynatrace does an excellent job of filling in the missing peices of the puzzle when an incident occurs.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the deep dive data collection and analysis it does with One Agent rather than multiple agents.

Also tight integration capabilities with Service now
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much except that it can add capabilities of Log collection and analytics solution
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly the application performance issue and end user difficulties in access applications.
It really benefited the multiple support teams to get the problem isolated rather than pointing fingers
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend Dynatrace if they are really looking for In depth APM solution
