Ant Media: The Best Server for Reliable and Versatile Streaming Solutions
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Ant Media Server is its exceptional real-time performance, seamless HLS playback, extensive device support, and robust WebRTC capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area for improvement is the admin panel, which could benefit from additional options for configuring server settings through a more user-friendly graphical interface (GUI).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ant Media Server is instrumental in addressing our live commerce app's needs by significantly reducing our video streaming platform costs. Its seamless integration with AWS is particularly beneficial, as it eliminates the necessity for third-party live streaming services, thereby streamlining our operations and reducing dependencies
Very easy to install
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that i can install without downloading is best for me and also the features there are seamless. I also like the fact that the customer support mial is very active and supportive and best for me as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Virtually nothing yet, i have been able to carry out my task easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the problem they help me solve is converting of H264 to H265.

What do you like best about the product?
Its low latency streaming and easy to setup software. The support is very hands-on and they helped me a lot all throughout the setup process.
What do you dislike about the product?
WebRTC eats a lot of resources so I have to stick using HLS stream. But overall it was not that much of an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Live streaming is the most crucial part of our operation. So I must say we benefit a lot from ant media server.
Ant Media -This IS THE company for me!

This company, to me, is head and shoulders above the rest! 24 hour contact, at most time to an actual human not a robot!
Clean, clear information and instructions on building a server and running it, how to link to YouTube etc..
As a server building virgin this can prove to be tricky so it's important to have people that can explaine clearly and help and that just what Ant Media does!

Maybe prices can be a little better as the market is very competitive.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about ant media is esay to use there is no hassale to use, it is so user friendly. They have good interface of admin panel from where we can mange streams

There is nothing which i dislike about ant media server

Ant Media Server for ISL360 Research Project
What do you like best about the product?
Ant Media Server has been selected, for ISL360 research project, for its really ultra low latency

The Unity SDK doesn't implement all the interface that are implement using the REST API interface

Ant Media Server help us to achieve an ultra low latency thei is the must for our project.
Excellent experience with AMS
What do you like best about the product?
It works like it's supposed to. Relatively trouble-free for the three years we've been using it. Support is very responsive,
What do you dislike about the product?
I am somewhat concerned that it is based on Red5 core and since Red5 is no longer under development, there is a risk of technology stagnation.

We have a major customer who likes our product and continues to use us after 4 years, even though there are many competitors out there trying to replace us in the account.

Simple to setup and configure with clear documentation to guide you. Customer and technical support reply quickly. some employees going above and beyond expectations to be as helpful as possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
None so far, any issues we've had with AMS were quickly resolved in collaboration with their support.
In the coming "age of AI" it would be nice to have out-of-the-box integration with major PaaS providers' services from this area (e.g. to be able to configure sending a video stream's frames to AWS Kinesis, which the user can then connect to image processing services).
