What do you like best about the product?
Integration of both the platforms, the Teradata database which many companies know about it, together with the Aster analytics capabilities, makes a great software for companies that want to be in the next level of information technology platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess there are some few steps that must be achieved in order to have a complete the integration: the data scientists that I work with found some issues in one of the functions they use to analyze data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If a company have already the Teradata database, by getting this software company will find the good integration of data and start doing big data analytical project that can deliver services for their current processes or create other ways of the advantages of the data they have.

What do you like best about the product?
Teradata es una base de datos altamente escalable con capacidad de procesamiento paralelo masivo. Este software no ha compartido nada de arquitectura que brinde protección de datos de alto nivel. Las solicitudes ad hoc se procesan en múltiples AMPS y son adecuadas para aplicaciones de datawarehousing.
El procesamiento en paralelo, la escalabilidad y la tolerancia a fallas son parte de su ADN, es de lo que más me gusta. Cuando está configurado correctamente, es bastante rápido.
La dirección estratégica de la empresa Teradata está muy centrada en Data Analytics, por lo que realmente creo que es el futuro.
Teradata siempre ha sido una gran empresa clave en las tecnologías de bases de datos desde principios de los años ochenta.
What do you dislike about the product?
Esta es una aplicación bastante difícil de usar. No hay asistentes que lo guíen a través de la selección de elementos de datos de varias tablas. Debes saber exactamente qué necesitas y de dónde proviene para poder escribir una consulta eficiente.
Las consultas a veces tardan demasiado tiempo. El cliente que ofrecen, Teradata Studio Express, a veces es extremadamente lento e inestable. A veces funciona, a veces no funciona.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
La base de datos se maneja fácil y es bastante eficaz. Además, el proveedor ha sido extremadamente ágil y se ha involucrado activamente en las mejoras sugeridas para el rendimiento y la escalabilidad.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Buen producto. Depende de la aplicación que se vaya a utilizar, pero si se necesitan datos masivos para ser consultados y reportados, entonces este software es el mejor. Si el volumen de datos no es demasiado alto, esto podría ser un gasto elevado y existen otras alternativas mejores.

What do you like best about the product?
- Integrates well with all our ETL Tools without much issues.
- IntelliCloud Management Console, were you can monitor all our IntelliCloud systems from one console.
- Incredible technical support.
What do you dislike about the product?
- Pricing ( Quite Expensive )
- When we started with Intellicloud, the support was just with selected US based AWS regions, now it is getting expanded globally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Moving to cloud is always tricky and challenging. But with the help of Intellicloud support team, the move was easy, it helped to manage our overall costs in a big way.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for powerful cloud based analytics solution, you can go for Intellicloud.

What do you like best about the product?
Can store trillions of data. Well defined amp structure to accomodate n number of users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Expensive compared to the open source dbs available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Required no indexing mostly and ease of use.can handle trillions of data sets. Performance is good.

What do you like best about the product?
Executing sql queries are way faster compare to oracle, amazing database for analytical queries
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes database executing plan is weird

Teradata database works as enterprise datawarehousing for our enterprise, it's realible
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Teradata is not cost friendly compared to oracle but with high data volume, scalability & speed, TD is way better than oracle

What do you like best about the product?
Its fast and capable of handling heavy tables
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is very high for hardware, and the support takes long time, plus its little different than traditional SQL
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Made reporting application backends on it, it is very reliable

Ease of using this tool is the best thing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I disliked was the hierarchy to be followed to even view a single column.
