What do you like best about the product?
Best part of using Alteryx is it's simplified yet rich interface. The platform has rich set of tool set distinguished in different categories which once understood can be leveraged for workflow creation very conveniently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing have I found to dislike in it. But it is worth focusing on the point that tool has potential development and analytics capabilities as well but with little to no exposure so far hence it can potentially serve more than just an ETL tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems like creating standardized well crafted output data for other platforms, creating designed templates of report, providing insights to data quality and other significant use cases.

We use heavily for data blending, which it is extremely great at, but that is just the tip of the iceberg of what is possible

Some screens seem a little old in UI terms, but a minor gripe

- Simply drag and drop workflow, Connect to data and run the flow

Sometime flow are complicated and overlapping sometime creates the confusion

This tool will help you in joining and blending the data as much faster pace.

What do you like best about the product?
It offers many features for data management and analysis. What I use frequently is being able to create tables on the HIVE platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is very intuitive and easy to learn. .. ..

I love using Alteryx to create multiple Salesforce or Hive tables with ease. It is easily accessible, and is ideal for data preparation and analysis.

It can process an enormous amount of data with speed and the customisation it offers.

The tool is designed by keeping it user-friendly, it requires a good amount of training on using it.

What do you like best about the product?
Alteryx is accessible - it has a drag & drop, low/no-code, visual workflow interface that means it's easy to automate complex processes. It is often imitated never matched. I am not a techie (before Alteryx I used to spend my days in Excel doing vlookups over and over again). With even just basic Excel skills, I was able to make use of Alteryx and today I shudder at the thought of a vlookup. Anyone can change their data game with Alteryx.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that Alteryx lacks is a robust visualisation tool. However, I believe this is because business intelligence tools are such a commodity now and Alteryx works by integrating seamlessly with them all - simultaneously if need be. We use Alteryx with Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, and QuickSight.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I kid you not, my entire life used to be in Excel. Now I can automate all of those tedious, repetitive processes. Those processes are dynamically automated and essentially complete, I spend my time driving insight rather than data wrangling.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Talk to an Alteryx Partner - Alteryx is a phenomenal tool and Partners are great at making the most of Alteryx within existing environments.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a single resource for ETL, Data Cleaning, Modeling, Statistics, CASS, GeoSPatial, and other analytics. It is a very low code environment that speeds up production, and the workflows are easily understandable even without a lot of documentation. I can train new users with coding experience in any other platform to use it in a matter of days. It has a wide range of tools and integrates very well with Tableau for reporting and visualization.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not have good reporting, but it works well with Tableau, so that solves the problem, but it does require one more tool. (for a total of 2).
The things I would improve are adding more python based statistical tools (because they tend to be less finicky than R) and improving the result displays for the python tool.
The R suite is huge, but some R functions inherently have trouble with bigger datasets, though Alteryx mitigates this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ETL, data cleaning, predictive modeling, geo-spatial modeling, and analysis. Work done in Alteryx directly affects Marketing strategy and operations. It is our primary research and development tool for data science.

What do you like best about the product?
I'm a massive fan of Alteryx because it has expanded my capabilities as an analyst and allowed me to save countless hours on tedious, manual tasks with repeatable workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at the moment. Some things could be a little simpler, like creating PDF reports or using machine learning tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alteryx has helped stabilize our processes, and we no longer encounter human errors. We've reduced the [tax data files] process by 50%, from five thousand hours a year to 2500 hours.

Is a tool that will improve your analytical expertise and will save you a lot of time of manual and repetitive work

What do you like best about the product?
The same excel functionality but finally in a workflow which make sense. Alog with the workflows , it is easy to import any data source and create a dashboard for visualization. the plug and play model is very useful for reusablility.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a heavy application, Dashboard and UI are not on par with the industry. the clould only implementation is not yet released and the storage policy isnt very clear. The machine learning woul dbe better with updated modules
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alteryx is our primary analysis and tax transformation tool that converts legacy projects. It has plug and play usable compenents which save a lot of time. the deployment is easy and time to market is advantageous

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing is you do not have to write even a single line of code to apply analytics to the data. Alteryx has drag and drop tools to perform data modeling.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much about this tool disappoints me. Everything works great. I think alteryx has a lot to give to its users. I feel the updates coming on alteryx making this product even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems like identifying merchants' names using fuzzy matching are problems I am working on. Alteryx saves time, and we can make alteryx app and can give it to the user.
