My experience with ACUMATICA
What do you like best about the product?
The software is easy to use. It condenses a lot of things onto one page. You can use it on any device and anytime sign in from anywhere I never have to worry about it when I'm traveling. Also because of it's unlimited user model I can add people on and don't have to bother IT to add a new user..
What do you dislike about the product?
It's so easy to learn you don't even think you need training but that's a mistake. Sometimes I'm not sure why something isn't being saved because I really haven't learned how to use the system correctly. There is a lot of info on 1 page -- which is good and bad I guess.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for financials as well as Sales CRM. Because the CRM as easily integrated with the chart of accounts with financials it's very easy to use. Also the expense modules build in so because everything is so easily integrated it's like having a very expensive air P product in the palm of your hand.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The community that is making up AccuMed to get reminded me of the original Edwards community 20 years ago. They want to improve the product and they listen to customers. It's very easy to get help on the phone and actually speak to executives within ACUMATICA. The partner that I used was very thorough and helpful.

Really starting to appreciate Acumatica!
What do you like best about the product?
Very very Robust. Integrated manufacturing Module. Web access
What do you dislike about the product?
Some pet peeves...things that made no sense to me. Resolved by finding a way, or just living with it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are finally going to get a good cost analysis of our products
Fast, Accurate and Great support
What do you like best about the product?
Acumatica has proved to be very accurate over the two years we have been using it. Stock quantities were a big issue with our last ERP. Also the support from Acumatica has been great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really not a lot to complain about. Upgrades with the old screen based APIs were a bit tricky, but they have since replaced those. The licensing we are using is by processor, which generally works well for us, but it does mean an upgrade requires doubling capacity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a fairly complex business with many lobs and sales channels and Acumatica has supported those with very few customizations.

Amazing software at affordable price
What do you like best about the product?
Web based ERP package with an option to deploy on your own server. .
What do you dislike about the product?
Some important areas / information lack proper documentation. For example, I cannot find any database schema and have to create my own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica ERP software offers unique opportunity to account for almost any business process along with capturing all the corresponding documentation utilizing web based interface and access from anywhere. Essentially, for us, it is a complete ERP package, with all required accounting modules plus specific adjustments and customization to capture the information from operations, along with document control system.

Be sure to review and document all business processes, Software is not going to solve your organizational problems.

What do you like best about the product?
1 - Unlimited user licensing
- One of the key decision factors was that I didn't have to pay per license. All of the other competitors I looked at, you pay per user, and for us, it got to where we weren't going to be able to afford it.
2 - Customer / Vendor portals
- Then customer portals and vendor portals were big for me. Other competitors, for if you wanted customer or vendor portals, you bought another user license for that. Not for each customer or vendor, but it was another user license that you bought.
3 - Responsive design
- I like the fact with the responsive design of Acumatica, I am not dependent to access my business software from a PC. No matter what device I am on (iPad, Android, iPhone, or any other device I have full access to my software resources. The fact that data being entered in to Acumatica at the office and the sales team in the field have instant access to the data helps us stay on top of business and proactively provide great customer service.
4 - Help within Acumatica
- This was one of the deciding factors to go with Acumatica. Within the software, wherever you are you can click on the help and it brings up a help page explaining the current page you're on and what each form means and that's helped me out tremendously.
5 - Uniform design throughout the software - The software GUI is broken into Modules - Company, Finance, Distribution, Configuration, System, etc. Within each module the layout of where to enter data is same through out each module. This shortens the learning curve during employee training.
6 - Search capabilities
- Any where in the program you can enter what your looking for in the search bar and the results are displayed like a Google search.
7 - Outlook plug-in - Within Outlook, when you receive an email from a customer, you can click on the Acumatica plugin (within Outlook) and it will query Acumatica and let you know if the contact is in Acumatica or not. If not, it is easy as clicking the add button to enter that contract in Acumatica. This is all done within Outlook. No cutting and pasting from Outlook to your CRM software.

Tight integration between purchase orders and sales order. -
My main goal was to find a system that had a tight integration between purchase orders and sales order. A work flow and a order process with efficiency that would help us give timely responses to our customers. Acumatica give us the capability to stay on top of orders issue to Vendors and also ensure the right products are delivered to our customers in a timely fashion.

Accounting, reporting and operations are much improved by the use of Acumatica in the Cloud.
What do you like best about the product?
Perhaps the best feature is the ability to use the generic inquiry feature to create ad hoc reports for downloading into Excel for further analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
The credit card integration with Authorize.net partner could use some improvements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accounting, sales data analysis and marketing, instant access to data that it took days and weeks to get to with old systems. Benefits include offsite access, unlimited users, downloading of reports into Excel, better streamlining of operations and access to pending shipments.

Acumatica is a wonderful product, and ensures financial accuracy.
What do you like best about the product?
As a user of both Acumatica and also Quickbooks, I can see just how important it is to have a proper ERP that fits your company. Our company found that we had outgrown Quickbooks, and wanted a program that went the extra mile to organize some of the more perplexing areas in our business. Better decisions lead to better performance in every company, and we have found that Acumatica is the perfect tool to guide us to better decision making,
What do you dislike about the product?
Acumaitca can be monotonous at times, especially when it comes to correcting minor mistakes that are made. When a document is released in Acumatica, there is no room for error, and no chance to make tiny corrections. You are punished by having to reverse out the incorrect document, and then add the same document you worked on back in with the proper corrections. The ability to copy documents helps, but it can be time consuming if a lot of mistakes are made.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica has helped us solve many business problems. We needed a record keeping program that logged time for our developers in order to take advantage of a research & development tax credit that is very beneficial to companies in our field. Now that we have Acumatica, that information is easily available. and we can store any supporting documentation conveniently within the system. This alone saves us thousands of dollars each year.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommend Acumatica, but make sure to work with those necessary to properly implement the system into your company, You want to make sure it is done correctly.
Small manufacturer/wholesaler/retailer review of Acumatica
What do you like best about the product?
Very functional system, easy to use and easy to train new employees on, integrated ERP and POS system. Acumatica seems truly committed to listening to users and incorporating their feedback in order to make the system better and better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sales analytics and reporting are not very strong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica was the only system that we looked at that provided an integrated ERP/POS system in our price range. We are a small, rural manufacturer and couldn't spend more than a couple hundred thousand dollars on a system.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a relatively new program, so there are some VARs without much experience -- make sure you understand how well your VAR knows Acumatica before choosing a VAR.

Stable and Reliable ERP
What do you like best about the product?
In the cloud means no hardware to maintain. Software updates are painless. Seamless integration with Magento reduces manual order entry. Automatic replenishments and other task scheduling is simple. Data import tools are easy to use and very powerful. Unlimited users and companies means expansion is easy without additional costs.
What do you dislike about the product?
No access to the ERP if the Internet is down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better inventory management. Huge time savings with Magento integration. Easy integration with other third party software such as PayPal, Avalara and Starship shipping software.

Acumatica is a pleasure to use and the people behind the company have a great vision. Their resellers are extremely knowledgable and easy to work with. Support tickets are nearly always answered within minutes from within the USA.
