What do you like best about the product?
It shows individual connections with which you are connected and it becomes easy to find the node which has any connecting issue. This saves time to analyse the affected node.
What do you dislike about the product?
As such there is nothing to dislike I have been using it for more than a year and I like it. It is fast and the user interface is very easy to understand. I have other applications also but I rarely or do not use them because Appgate SDP looks familiar and easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem solved by Appgate SDP is that is shows the connectivity with the individual nodes, so there is no need to waste time in finding the connectivity issue with any node. You just have to take a look at its dashboard and you will find everything there.

What do you like best about the product?
Appgate SDP gives you access to what you're entitled to see & use. Coupled with easy profile management & simple administration & deployment, it's the go-to tool to enhance security. I love the simple GUI with different colors and trenches to access resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike about the application. A network engineer will require a different perception to use this technology. Being a user, it works great for me.
I like the simple authentication feature using SSO and it barely disconnects unlike other VPN.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security - I look at it as a security tool that reflects resources that a user is entitled to access.
Once a profile is mapped, it gets easy to connect, login, sign-out or quit the application.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go ahead with it.

Been using AppGate SDP to connect to multiple AWS accounts from the same secure connection seamlessly. Much better than having to disconnect/connect from the different VPN's I was using before. My DEVOPS team has integrated it to our processes using their API's. Strongly recommend the product

Revolutionary way to protect your environment

I deployed AppGate and ran it for the full 14 days the trial promised. It was definitely easy to deploy and met the objectives of my testing. I needed to allow access to a very dynamic set of virtual machines and preferred to do it based on tags and also preferred to do it directly from the internet, without forcing VPN tunnels on to my end users. AppGate met both challenges.

And as I understand it, after talking to their support team, I can deploy the same technology to protect assets in my traditional data center as well; and manage it all from a single pain of glass.

While I didn't get to play with it much, the logging flexibility I read about in the online docs seems like it will actually help to simplify our compliance and reporting requirements as well. All around, seems like a great product.

Interesting new security technology!

I've been using AWS for a while, but was never really happy with the way that security groups made me map everyone to an IP address. It turned into a real problem and a constant headache.

AppGate is a network gateway that lets me set up access policies for each user, and tie it to my enterprise authentication system. I am just getting started with it, but so far it makes it much easier to lock down my VPC servers!
