Report creation with desired requirement from customer, Jasper reports had that feasibility to design the reports based on the user requirement
as a devops engineer i found it a very easy way to insatll and use it.

Great product to transition off of Cognos Impromtu
What do you like best about the product?
The transition from Cognos Impromptu to Japsersoft went smoother than expected as we now have this running in production.

Some of our custom reports were a bit tricky to mimic once we were moved off of Impromtu.

It is running daily reports against our rgw database.

He makes complicated and laborious things simple
What do you like best about the product?
Everything can be precisely solved graphically and if I don't want to "tidy up" ... I simply reach into the .XML output definition and finish it manually.

I can't load the print fonts into my Java applications, I have been trying to do it for a long time, I debugged(stepped) the JasperReport source code, but still the fonts won't load.

I create accompanying reports to numerical outputs in information systems, where I need to quickly find the output report for various input (agenda) tasks

What do you like best about the product?
In my company, we were already familiar with the software, as we had previously used the free Community Edition. By switching to a commercial license, we not only received a top-notch product with all the functionalities, but we are also satisfied with the after-sales support. We are regularly contacted by authorized persons who help us use the full potential of the software and monitor how we are doing in working with the software.
Set-up installation was easy, and the software allows us to create and customize adequate number of roles and authorization levels, which is also very important.

There are no significant downfalls. Everything works as expected.

We are using Jaspersoft to deliver reports documents to our users when we need to have formatted, well-designed reports in word, excel or pdf format.
