The Cevo DevOps Maturity Assessment (DOMA) aims to uncover the blockers and challenges within your business or department which hinder the realisation of those desired outcomes.

DOMA covers several pillars of your organisation - including culture, people, process and architecture - from the perspective of an experienced DevOps transformation team.

Understanding the culture of an organisation provides meaningful context for the activities and actions that take place within it. The Organisational Culture Assessment allows us to gain a point in time snapshot of your organisations’ culture.

The DOMA also looks at more specific process and technology pillars, including architecture, continuous delivery, product and process, observability and monitoring.

Process

DOMA is the first part of a 3-phase process:

Phase 1: Assess

Our cloud consultants will work with you through technical and operational discovery workshops to understand your company’s current culture, processes and technologies, and identify opportunities for uplift. Based on industry-accepted models of organisational culture and software delivery maturity, our unique and well-refined approach will help improve efficiency at every stage. The outputs of DOMA are:

• A structured roadmap, prioritised against your stated business goals and drivers.
• Our cloud consultants will then review their recommendations with you, and develop an implementation strategy, as well as acceptance criteria and a skills uplift plan.
• In collaboration with your team, our consultants will also help to define a prioritised remediation backlog, which will outline the tasks that you can implement in order to raise your skills and processes to meet industry best practice.
• Finally, our consultants will produce a key findings and decisions paper so that the learnings and knowledge gained can be implemented for your workload and even shared across other projects.

Phase 2: Uplift

With our assistance and specific, ready-to-go teams who are poised for success, implement the chosen improvements identified in the outputs of the DOMA.

Phase 3: Scale

Our cloud consultants can help you scale the improvements, lessons and skills to other teams.
