COMETA® is a homegrown data cataloging platform that integrates the entire organization with reliable data that all users can easily search, understand, and access from any source in any use case. The user interface, which can be easily operated by people in the business department as well as those in the systems department who manage the data infrastructure, helps organizations become data-driven. Simply storing vast amounts of data in a data warehouse or data lake does not make the data itself a profitable asset for the company. There are very few data catalogs that can be used by any user to easily search, understand, and gain insight from the data. In particular, there are very few metadata management tools that are primarily available in Japanese, and companies need the ability to search even ambiguous terms, and COMETA® is a great tool to fill this need.
