CloudFormation Template (CFT)
AWS CloudFormation templates are JSON or YAML-formatted text files that simplify provisioning and management on AWS. The templates describe the service or application architecture you want to deploy, and AWS CloudFormation uses those templates to provision and configure the required services (such as Amazon EC2 instances or Amazon RDS DB instances). The deployed application and associated resources are called a "stack."

Usage instructions
Once you deploy please take note of the following key outputs from Cloud Formation template:
- HelixCoreInstanceID
- P4CommitPublicIP
You will require these to connect to your Helix Plan.
Connect to Helix Plan:
- Download the Helix Plan client (https://www.perforce.com/downloads/hansoft-client ).
- Open the Helix Plan Client.
- Login using the following details: Helix Plan Server: < HelixPlanPublicIP> Port: 50256
- Click Connect.
- For more information, see the Helix Plan User Guide (https://help.perforce.com/hansoft/current/user/index.htm ).
- To connect to the Helix Plan server using the Helix Plan Server Administrator application, use username Administrator. The password is the output value of <HelixPlanInstanceID>.
- Activate your Helix Plan license key (you will receive email for that). In the Helix Plan Client go to Admin > Upgrade license. Copy and paste the license key manually.
