We follow the 3-2-1-1-0 rule as a best practice: 3 Copies of your data, not including original source data 2 recovery copies stored in separate locations and accounts 1 of the recovery copies stored locally for fast local restores 1 recovery copy in an immutable vault 0 issues found during automated backup testing
