Overview
Cloud Cost Optimization Rapid Assessment provides insights into your cloud spend tracked and reported by business process or application, helps you identify areas of waste/ overspending for potential cost saving, and presents you recommendations for their cost optimization.
The assessment will evaluate your usage of cloud resources for the associated business process, and how the cost management is being performed; to drive recommendations for cost saving actions that can be achieved without impacting performance or functionality.
The assessment is a 60-hour engagement which comprises of the following stages:

For this, the scope of the Rapid Assessment will be limited to understanding of 1 process, 1 application (1 environment up to 10 workloads running in AWS).

- The assessment is a 60 hours engagement which comprises of the following stages a) Kick-off and Understanding b) Discovery and Analysis c) Cost Optimization Recommendations For 1 specific application or process, up to 10 workloads in AWS
- The assessment will evaluate the following: Maturity of documentation, compliance to tagging strategy, naming convention exists and is being followed. Compliance to Hyperscale subscription Identify Cost optimization opportunities, cost & usage data, overprovisioning resources, unallocated Ips, VM tagging, reservations Assess if auto-scaling is enabled with correct right sizing Gather and Understand objectives, strategies, and in-flight initiatives related to FinOps Cost Management.
