    Why use Bitnami Certified Apps?

Bitnami certified images are always up-to-date, secure, and built to work right out of the box.

Bitnami packages applications following industry standards, and continuously monitors all components and libraries for vulnerabilities and application updates. When any security threat or update is identified, Bitnami automatically repackages the applications and pushes the latest versions to the cloud marketplaces.

    Highlights

    • Manage and track multiple projects, with a separate document manager, wiki, calendar, Gantt charts, forums, and time tracking for each one. Create custom fields by project for bugs, time tracking, and users.
    • Feeds and email notifications keep everyone on the same page. News and announcements can be pushed to all or a subset of users, and new issues can be created and updated via email.
    • Themes enable customization with an organization's branding and color scheme, and a large community of developers contributes plugins and tools to integrate Redmine with existing tools and workflows.

I set it up with t2.large, but it's slow even though only one user is accessing it.
Why haven't I installed any plugins?

Redmine is a pain to setup and install, however using bitnami and its guide,
it was painless, other things (configure email was not so bad with the guide from bitnami) HTTPS setup too was easy, there was a built in tool to help with this, altho the bitnami guide on this part maybe outdated, so needed to google to get this to work, but overall, it was good, been using this since 2007
