Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

    Usage instructions

    The following instructions outline the setup process for the free version of our solution. To begin, clients must launch an EC2 instance using the custom AMI provided.

    Installed Applications/Software:

    • PostgreSQL
    • Nginx
    • Odoo

    To access logs for each component:

    • PostgreSQL logs can be viewed by first accessing the container and /var/log/postgresql/postgresql-15-main.log.
    • Nginx logs can be found at /var/log/nginx/nginx.access.log or /var/log/nginx/nginx.error.log.
    • Odoo container application logs can be viewed by first accessing the container and then executing the command cat /var/log/odoo/odoo-server.log.

    If any configuration changes are required, the corresponding services must be restarted using sudo systemctl restart customodoo.service.

    For customizing the Odoo application, clients may refer to the following configuration files:

    • Odoo: located at /etc/odoo/odoo.conf within the container.
    • Nginx: located at /etc/nginx/sites-available/default.
    • PostgreSQL: located at /etc/postgresql/postgresql.conf within the container.

    The Odoo application is accessible through the EC2's Public IP. For detailed guidance, see the instructions.txt file.
