An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

First, create an EC2 instance using this AMI with a minimum of 4GB of RAM.

Access the OpenMRS Initialization Page: Once your instance is running, open a web browser and navigate to http://<instance_ip>/openmrs The initialization process may take up to 15 minutes to complete. After initialization, you will be automatically redirected to the OpenMRS login page.

Retrieve the Initial Admin Password: Connect to your EC2 instance via SSH: ssh -i /path/to/your/private-key.pem ubuntu@<instance_ip> After logging in, retrieve the randomly generated admin password by running: cat /openmrs-distro/initial_admin_password.txt

Use the following credentials on the OpenMRS login page: Username: admin Password: Use the password from /openmrs-distro/initial_admin_password.txt
