The customer engagement starts with application discovery and data collection, which can be tool based or offline via a data collection template as per the customer's requirements. This collected data is then fed to the Wipro FullStride Cloud Studio Platform, which generates reports for each app across various dimensions (OS, tech stacks, license requirements, app dependencies).

The platform offers easy-to-use visualization and analytical tools to help with the analysis of IT data, which is then used to configure rules and to plan, create, design, develop, and manage cloud migration projects with an automated and industrialized approach (using an R-Lane strategy and topology graphs). A code analysis is also done for applications with the available code to check the cloud migration readiness and the complexity of an application.

This is done in conjunction with launching app surveys, which capture the important qualitative metrics for specified apps. Using both these qualitative metrics and Wipro FullStride Cloud Studio's assessment results, the final recommendations are generated. These consist of the R-Lane strategy, landing zone decision, move groups, app upgrade options, and pattern matrix. This can then be further customized and finalized upon customer approval.

After the customer approves the strategy, Wipro FullStride Cloud Studio's engineers and consultants design the tech blueprint and architecture, and the migration and modernization team begins their workflow, implementing the proposed strategy.

Key Activities and Deliverables:

• Discovery data collection: Discover server inventory, software, application dependencies, and relevant IT infrastructure details

• Application code analysis: Analyze code for compatibility to migration and determine migration complexity
• Migration strategy: Use R-Lane, move group, pattern matrix, and migration priority reports to align business goals with cloud and deliver a complete migration strategy

Customer Preparedness:

• Help in data collection: Gathering data using agentless tools or offline discovery with support from the customer's IT team
• Provide data through surveys: Answer all survey questions accurately and highlight any specific use case as required
• Provide licensing details: Specify any specific licenses that need to be changed or kept the same while migrating
• Outline the business priorities: Review whether the rule engine scoring mechanism and framework is in line with the expectations to meet business goals and objectives
