Overview
IT teams are tasked with not only assuring service delivery and a delightful user experience, but also protecting digital assets from the on-premises data center to the cloud. The sheer sprawl of the IT footprint beyond the boundaries of the traditional enterprise means that NETOPS, SECOPS, and ITOPS must collaborate effectively and gain visibility into the threats across the extended attack surface. Recognizing that both the attack surface is growing and the attacks are continuing to escalate with greater sophistication, it is critical to fully understand business risks and solve security issues faster. To make this happen requires continuous monitoring of Indicators of Compromise (IoCs), vulnerabilities, and network attacks. And this is where NETSCOUT can help. With its comprehensive end-thru-end visibility and global threat intelligence feed, the NETSCOUT Omnis Cyber Intelligence platform enables IT professionals to detect, validate, investigate, and respond to cyber threats, whether on-prem or in the cloud - quickly and efficiently.
Highlights
- Gain visibility into threats and vulnerabilities and derive actionable insights for security threats that span AWS, on-premises, and hybrid cloud environments
- Proactively detect security threats, vulnerabilities and Indicators of Compromise (IoCs) in complex, interconnected infrastructures by turning network traffic and global threat intelligence feeds into actionable cybersecurity intelligence
- Strengthen security posture by integrating with AWS Security Hub to aggregate and organize findings, and for contextual drill-down into Omnis Cyber Intelligence for forensic analysis to resolve the highest priority security issues

Omnis Cyber Intelligence
NETSCOUT and AWS have come together to provide smarter security with end-to-end visibility and actionable intelligence. Leveraging the power of the NETSCOUT cyber threat and risk investigation platform with AWS Security Hub, this solution for enterprises streamlines contextual investigations for security risks and strengthens the corporate security posture. SOC teams use AWS Security Hub as a single place that aggregates, organizes, and prioritizes security alerts, or findings, from multiple AWS services and now, NETSCOUT Omnis Cyber Investigator. Events and insights detected by NETSCOUT Omnis Cyber Investigator are displayed in AWS Security Hub and users can do contextual drilldowns from AWS Security Hub to investigate these events further in NETSCOUT Omnis Cyber Investigator. AWS Security Hub continuously aggregates and prioritizes events from multiple sources, including NETSCOUT Omnis Cyber Investigator, making it easy to visualize findings and enabling insights so that SecOps teams can intervene and investigate high severity findings.
NETSCOUT optionally collects license information at time of product deployment.
CloudFormation Template (CFT)
AWS CloudFormation templates are JSON or YAML-formatted text files that simplify provisioning and management on AWS. The templates describe the service or application architecture you want to deploy, and AWS CloudFormation uses those templates to provision and configure the required services (such as Amazon EC2 instances or Amazon RDS DB instances). The deployed application and associated resources are called a "stack."
