    Secured version of Kurian Java Machine with OpenJDK LTS version 8. An Eclipse Temurin build is preinstalled on this AMI and JAVA_HOME points to the install location.

    Kurian has released pre-configured software applications such as Wordpress, Jenkins, databases, LAMP stack, Ansible, DevOps tools, and monitoring applications that are widely used by system administrators and DevOps engineers. For selected Linux distributions hardened images based on CIS benchmark are also available. The Kurian AMIs are built following official installation steps so you do not need to learn any custom procedures if additional configurations need to be done.

    What do you like best about the product?
    Free, as it is community developed and Open source thereby reducing huge costs incurred as compared to Oracle JDK.

    Good support and gets patches then and there.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    Slightly lower JVM performance when compared to Oracle's JDK.

    Bit Instable when compared to Oracle JDK.

    Might run into End of Life by 2026.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    Helps to develop Java applications with ease and since its a Open source implementation, it is cost effective.
