Overview
This service will deliver a Rapid Discovery of an infrastructure estate, the maturity and readiness of the organisation to adopt public cloud services and provide a total cost of ownership for running the workloads in AWS.
As part of the engagement we will deploy the Device42 discovery tool to collect data over a 4 week period which will provide accurate data for producing a right-sized total cost of ownership.
This service is delivered across the following phases:
- Migration Readiness Assessment. A structured workshop to collate information related to the customer's cloud strategy and their technical and operational readiness to support the migration of workloads to the cloud
- Inventory Discovery. Deployment of a discovery tool to collect inventory and utilisation data of the infrastructure estate
- TCO Analysis. Analysis of the inventory data to provide a right-sized total cost of ownership to support the business case for cloud adoption.
- Reporting and Close. Presentation of the results of the discovery, readiness assessment and TCO analysis
