An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
First open the Bladelogic Wizard from here: "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\BMC Software\BMC BladeLogic Server Automation Suite\Utilities\Application Server Configuration Wizard.lnk"
Now verify:
- In the Database Tab: Verify that the : "Database Server" Name = Your current ServerName (and if NOT then update it here, you can verify the server name via CMD with the hostname command)
- Select the File Server Tab: verify that the : "File Server Name" is = Your current IP-Address (and if NOT then update it here, you can verify the ip-address via CMD with the ipconfig command)
- Press: OK
- Open: Services and start the service: "TrueSight Server Automation Application Server"
- Click the Server Automation Console icon on your desktop, or launch it from here: "C:\Program Files\BMC Software\BladeLogic\CM\rcp\BSAClient.exe" For login use: User Name: BLAdmin, Password: bladelogic
Optional - Integrate with AWS CloudWatch Logs to ingest the solutions logs If you are interested in sending the solutions logs to our CloudWatch Logs module, please follow the instructions in the following link

Usage of Amazon CloudWatch services is subject to the pricing and billing policies set forth by Amazon Web Services (AWS).
