    Overview

Global-active device (GAD) enables you to create and maintain synchronous, remote copies of data volumes. A quorum disk is used to monitor the GAD pair volumes. The quorum disk acts as a heartbeat for the GAD pair, with both storage systems accessing the quorum disk to check on each other. Global-active device cloud quorum brings the quorum disk to the cloud, removing the need for an on-premise quorum and simplifying configuration for GAD users.

    Highlights

    • Deploy a GAD quorum in minutes using our Global-Active Device Cloud Quorum Image with pre-configured scripts to automate the process
    • View and makes changes to your quorum using the Global-Active Device Cloud Quorum menu user-interface
