    What do you like best about the product?
    1. Tenable Nessus is always up-to-date with the vulnerabilities database which scans for all the latest vulnerabilities.
    2. They provide decent customer support.
    3. It solves the implementation in 2 ways - agent-based and credentials-based.
    4. It provides an interactive and nice GUI as well along with easy integration with other tools.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    It cannot pull asset tags itself. We need to set up a whole different automation to ingest custom asset tags into Tenable nessus.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    It is solving a great organizational problem of vulnerabilities on the hosts and applications on it by reducing the attack surface for the attacker with scheduled scans, custom scan template and extensive vulnerability database.

    The user interface can be complex and not very intuitive. Limited Reporting capabilities.

    It provides each and every vulnerabities Found on the devices and gives more visibility towards fixing on the flaws found
    What do you dislike about the product?
    Frequent upgrade to be required , some times getting delay on updating trending security landscape .

    It gives attention to close the vulnerabilities on priority wise to workaround to close the patch /upgrades .

    What do you like best about the product?
    Nessus has provided a lot of help in determining new and current Common Vulnerabilities and Exploits (CVE) to both on-prem and cloud-based servers. It boosted the security posture of these in-scope IT assets and helped in updating the versions of the apps and platforms in it.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    Nothing much. Report types may be improved and contents can be consolidated better.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    Baselining the network, platforms, and hardware devices ensures that we are following the best practices. Nessus helps us achieve it through one of its features.
    Recommendations to others considering the product:
    Nessus is like a de-facto standard for your vulnerability scanning needs. Allocate time to know the features so you can maximize them.
