Persistent Optimization and Licensing Assessment (OLA)

The OLA helps customers to identify opportunities for reducing their Microsoft licensing costs. Among other things, this automated assessment shows: 

• A comprehensive view of the Microsoft licensing estate, providing the customer a complete view of everything they're being charged for
• Rates of utilization (what’s being used, what’s not, etc.) which identifies opportunities for savings through consolidation

Our automation-first approach simplifies the complex step of analyzing the collected data through our home-grown automation tool - Persistent Intelligent Optimization & Licensing Assessment (PiOLA). Outcome of our analysis includes a set of recommendations for Bring Your Own License (BYOL), and License Included (LI) options for AWS compute instances along with the associated cost models. Microsoft Workload Modernization and Licensing Optimization options. Any idle or zombie instances will be identified for potential further cost savings
